All to play for on Tuesday. Juventus stumbled today losing to SPAL 2-1 with a team mostly of reserves. Ronaldo was rested. Word is that Cheillini and Douglas Costa both will miss the game because of injury. Emre Can may not be able to play a full 90 minutes so we may see the same starting lineup as in Amsterdam. Ajax need to be on the front foot out of the box.

I genuinely feel we have a good chance to progress.

Nous is back, but I'm not sure how the backline will play out. Some combination of Nous, Veltman, De Ligt and Blind - either Veltman as RB and Nous as LB or Nous at RB & Blind at LB.

I also feel Huntelaar/Dolberg on for the last 30 minutes or so will set the cat amongst the pigeons in their backline.

Game will be decided by the play of the MFs on both teams. If Ajax can disrupt Juve's MF as they did in Amsterdam there is a good chance of a result.

Looks like they're going in more defensive looking for an error from us. That's based on the 2 changes which I've highlighted above.

Totally agree with this. People are talking about Ajax again and is usually in glowing terms. We are back!

We need to not give up the ball easily and keep it tight at the back.

Cannot see us winning but I said that when we played in Madrid. Frenkie is fit and Veltman at RB ,Mazraoui LB. We only have a regular 13 starting players this season but thankfully ,although very late, we have a 14th in Veltman. He coming in last week for Mazraoui and today for Tagliafico is a bonus as he is still a decent defender and far better than Kristensen.

This is not good. Nous could not shake off his earlier injury. Sinkgraven looks to be coming on.

Wondering if Huntelaar will be on for Schöne at some point to allow Ziyech to drop back into MF? Tadic and Ziyech not seeing enough of the ball.

What a first half. this match is still on a knife's edge. de Ligt barreled over Veltman and Ronaldo was able to get another free header. Juve RB was too lazy to come out and van de Beek was safely on side for his goal. Ajax still look nervous and let's hope ten Hag can settle them down. Schöne is a liability but substitutions have to be carefully dealt with now that Mazraoui had to come off.

Thought that was it when Ronaldo scored but Donny got us back in it although both commentators said off side and we wait again for 2 mins for VAR
