Ajax's slim chances for a league title require nothing more than a super convincing win this Sunday. Ideally it needs to be something like 4-0 so that Feyenoord leave the Arena humiliated and full of questions about whether they can perform down the stretch. Even with such a win, the Rotterdam team will have to drop at least four more points as the goal difference is probably too great for Ajax to overcome. Count me as pessimistic regarding a championship though I believe it is possible for Ajax to run the table with only two tough matches left, the other away to PSV.

None of the Ajax internationals suffered any injuries. Sanchez was on the bench for both of Columbia's WC qualifiers. Viergever was on briefly against Italy; Klaassen played both matches; Tete was on for the full 90 last night and de Light had a problematic first half against Bulgaria.

As Ajax supporters, we should be happy to settle for second place. A 2-1 win would be just fine

Dolberg out not fit ,Cerny in the squad.Any sort of win will do but if had to put money on a result it would be a draw..PSV currently winning another game ,so could be level if we draw.

After that woeful game v Excelsior I have almost given hope of winning the title.

I believe Vilhena is suspended for Feyenoord because of violent conduct (elbow to the face) in the last match.

Sounds likely. Our back up CF Cassiera didn't impress playing at the top level and has played mostly for Jong now. He is in the squad, but can't see him getting a start in a game of this magnitude.

Onana and Nouri have birthdays today hope they will celebrate a win. Onana now 21 Nouri 20. Cassierra and v d Beek 20 in the next couple of weeks and de Jong in May .The number of teenagers in the squad falling fast.(Kluivert de LIgt Cerny and Dolberg)

If they had been playing with this kind of passion against lesser teams, Ajax would be leading the league! Good first half but, Traore should have had at least one goal. Need to keep the focus and pressure on in the second half and get to my promised 4-0 victory!!

A great 1st half by us ,cannot see them coming back unless we give them a howler ie de Ligt Onana in recent games.

Neres and Kuivert proper wingers a vast improvement. Traore much better in the centre but missed a sitter.

Oranje will be happy Veltman misses the next game

Finally a team that attacks with desire. Now, the important thing for the 2nd half is to keep the forward momentum going. If we sit back and try to protect the 2 goal lead we will get taken for sure. Have to watch out for long balls over the top for Kramer and we will be ok defensively.
