After a disappointing trip to Copenhagen, Ajax return to the Arena for a home match against Twente. Points are needed and the Classic is coming up in less than a month (there will be extra time to prepare because of the WC qualifiers at the end of March).

This is going to be difficult. They have Unal, a brilliant midfielder, he can't stop scoring.

everyone is fit so the usual 11 ie 3 forwards who cannot score and a non creating midfield. Feyenoord just blown AZ away ,if they get a draw with us thats it

An incredibly boring half of football. I think I dozed off 3-4 times. No hope for this group of players.

A very tight half ,only real chance Traore cannot finish. Younes a waste of time and midfield doing little.Really would love to see de Jong come on for Schone although Klaassen doing even less.

Too slow and unimaginative. The ball is played to traore or younes who rearly come up with anything worthwhile. I guess it's no point of hoping that Nouri would get a chance. Klaassen is out for the Copenhagen game so maybe we should give a chance to van de Beek or Nouri in the second.

Younes and Traore are the biggest problems ,both create nothing and no finishing.Neres and Nouri to replace them and de Jong for Klaassen ,as he wont play on Thursday.

Very uninspiring half of football. The team is attacking like it was FdeB doing the managing. Traore loused up two(!) excellent goal scoring chances because he wouldn't take them with his right foot. What's he doing playing on the right to begin with if he can't use his r foot.

Finally a nice pass from Younes who sets Dolberg in free on goal.

A fine goal by Dolberg ,nice pass by Younes,doing well since I wrote him off

Great movement ending with Younes slipping a pass through for Dolberg who takes it around the keeper and rolls it into the net. What a difference bringing on Kluivert for Traore has made.

ok, he has a goal and an assist, but I would still like to see Neres replacing Younes. Would be nice to see actually what we bought for 12 million.

I really won't be against selling Ziyech this summer. I'm not sure if he really adds a lot and he's holding a bunch of our kids back.

He had only the keeper to beat and shoots right at him.

Pretty darn sure Dolberg was offsides on that goal.

Of course as soon as I say that about Ziyech, he sets an easy tap in for Dolberg.

Looked a step offside to me as well. Also, I initially thought Ziyech was going for goal and missed.

Nice set up by Ziech for the third after he almost scored a very nice goal after a long dribble. I think he could do even better, but this was a a better game from Ziech I think. Hope he continues to improve.

Yep -- me too. Still, aside from that he's had a pretty poor game. It's hard to tell from the replay angle, but Dolberg looked as if he might have been behind the ball.
