Ajax had the week off while our arch rivals from Rotterdam won the cup tie by defeating Utrecht. The penultimate match day sees Twente visiting the Arena and Ajax need a certain win to stay on track for the championship. All the matches kick off at the same time with PSV home to cellar dwelling Cambuur who look to be facing almost certain relegation.

We will have good friends in town visiting from Canada so it's unlikely I will be able to watch the match. Since NGSN went out of business I am out of luck to watch a replay of the match. Perhaps my absence will bring Ajax luck.

I haven't been able to watch as many games this year due to other commitments, and all the games I was watching we were mega poor, and EVERY game I didn't see we won!

So, as you may guess... I have purposely not watched the last four games haha.. I'm not usually superstitious but right now, for the sake of two games.. I'm staying well away!

Cruijff and I have the same positive attitude. I expect my team to win every match, of course this sometimes leads to disappointment but still if you are a supporter you need to be positive.

Watch out or Hakim Ziyach for this one. Remember Ajax struggle at home rather than away games.

Of course Ziyech can test Cillessen several times. It's not pure class in our defense with Van der Hoorn and Viergever. Probably it will be Viergever on Dijks his spot and Veltman with Van der Hoorn as central defenders.

But just use SPL's, Orange14 or Tom_'s tips to watch it live in good quality and experience the excitement.

Ziyech played amazing in the match vs Willem II. That was something special. But after that it seems he lost his form somewhat. I hope he doesn't play well enough for Ajax not to win because I don't want to have to hate him

Surprising how far Twente has fallen. And the last two seasons penalized for financial 'misbehavior'. Not always easy in the Dutch league...but that's okay.
Hope to see Tete back in the line-up at RB, and the other regulars just sort of shifting over. No need to change things up too much. Wonder if Serero will be back in MF, he was quite good last week. Very good actually.

Twente's defense has been bad this season so with luck we should score a couple and get a win. I don't have much hope for PSV dropping points at home to Cambuur though.

el Ghazi misses the match because of injury and is replaced by Cerny. Riedewald is healthy and in the match day squad but it is not clear whether he could play a full 90 minutes as he was not permitted to play in the Jong Ajax match at the beginning of the week.

Is Cerny originally a left winger? or is he two footed?

I am putting cricket first tomorrow. Will tape the game and watch it when I come in.Last time I missed a game live was last August.

Expect a win but think our GD will be reduced as PSV will win about 5 or 6-0. Will certainly watch next week's game live. Still think we will be champs and just hope that 93rd min equaliser by Roda wont cost us the title.That goal haunts me.

I would play Tete at LB ,he can control Ziyech. He must be the best player in the league, cannot understand why we did not buy him back in 2014.We got Sinkgraven from Heerenveen instead and he is not as good as Nouri and I also predict de Jong will be better.

Ziyech is good but a little bit inconsistent for my liking. He will probably end up at PSV, to be the understudy of Guadardo

Will follow the game from my cricket , really want to watch us live but its a beautiful day so after along dark dreary winter I do need to be in the sun. Lucky that its live on sky so I am tapping it and will watch it this evening .

Lets hope we play superbly well and stick 3 or 4 past Twente.

40 mins of good football and a deserved lead. Cerny, Gudelj and Serero all looking good, but another bad game from Klaassen

It never fails - the minute I step away to take care of something, they go ahead and score a goal. Will see it on the highlights, I suppose.

Good first half. Great tackle by Veltman for the ball and great and calm finishing by Cerny.

PSV leading 3-2 over Cambuur. So that's not affecting our lead at all right now.

PSV looking to score 10 it seems. Hopefully they concede 11 in the process...

HT and up 1-0 on a great goal from Cerny. Twente very defensive minded. Ajax needs to stay focused in the 2nd half and score a couple goals. Anyone know what the score is in the PSV game?

Oh 3-2 in the PSV match. Yes Klaassen...should be substituted.

Some warning signs... Need that second goal

It's now 5-2 in the PSV game -- so they have erased two goals from the difference -- so far -- we really need to score another goal or two or we will be in big trouble going into the final game.

We're OK so long as we get three points here!
