Hope for some goals today from us. v Rhijn for v dHoorn.Sinkgraven and Younes are wingers,El Ghazi striker with Milik as no 10 .Klaassen on the bench and v d Beek left out

Not sure where Milik is playing , they are saying the same thing on sky.Sinkgraven is in mf and Milik drifting around looking lost.

sky guys are still going on about Milik and what happens he scores .Nicely taken by him and will give him confidence.


And now el Ghazi with a nice goal ,game over in the space of 2mins.

Now, they have to keep in attack mode. If they go into pitty pat style they will give the game back.

Not convinced by our play but maybe an easy win will get us back in track. We weren't causing any problems then we scored one off a set piece and a second off a defensive blunder (el Ghazi mishit that shot too, no way he was going for the far post trickle!).

Just don't understand the thinking. Roda block up the middle and double team Younes and Milik on the wings; we oblige by going down the wing and coughing up the ball practically every time.

where were our cd's good goal though

Tete probabaly would not have let the guy cross the ball ,V Rhijn still cannot defend

This is not good. Two lucky goals covering up the fact that we are being outplayed

clearly not over when we were 2 up,since then its been all Roda and our defence looks a bit dodgy without Tete,who is our best defender.

Oh my, FdB has really lost it. Milik playing as a right winger and he still hasn't instructed his midfield to look for open spaces to create triangles. This keeps getting worse as Ajax are so totally predictable that teams who play error free football can keep a clean sheet against this team.

Tete would have tackled the ball away on the goal. It was a very nice run by Poepon who spent some time in the Ajax youth system before moving on and I'm not sure that Riedewald could do much on that one.

Agree that v.R was as much responsible for that goal as bad cd coverage. I wouldn't say that we were outplayed -- we held our own quite well, for the most part -- except for their winger who made v.R look foolish on several occasions, we contained their attack fairly comfortably. The negative was just that we had absolutely no fluency and no system when it came to creativity on the attack.

I did make the comment afterwards that it was indeed V Rhijn at fault for the goal

Push the balls to the wings and cross. Didn't work? Well keep trying it again. Once all the teams figured out that all you have to do is to double team the wingers, we were screwed. Game over.

They created more chances from open play, in my book that is being outplayed

@Orange it's like we don't have a midfield. The ball goes from defense direct to the wing every time. Have to try to get the ball into the middle, but there has been no attempt to do that.

Deserved equaliser. What Ajax do you remember that would come out in the second half and try to hang on to a 1 goal lead against Roda JC?

I honestly can't work out what the reason for not using the centre of the pitch is. It has to be a tactical decision...?

It was inevitable, wasn't it. Been coming for the entire 2nd half.

Well we were all praying that this wouldn't happen.

We are playing scared against Roda JC with 100 million+ in the bank. Overmars and De Boer need to go. This season is going downhill really quickly now, isn't it?

poor defence , no attack and no midfield.Ajax football bankrupt.Cannot believe the biggest fan can see us win the title.We have played rubbish from Utrecht ,thats 6 games we have been very poor and we were lucky to win 3 of them.Fword will probabaly beat us next week
