This match will already be played next Thursday. 7 pm Dutch time, 6 pm in the United Kingdom. Game will be sold out for sure, but at the moment it is not. So late deciders you can still make a trip to Amsterdam for a very fine night in the stadium.

We have a very interesting group. All are former Champions League contenders and all home games will sell out for sure (Celtic is 1th match and most interesting name), Fenerbahce, second home game will attract thousands of fans from Turkey that live in Holland, Germany, Belgium and even France.

Molde is the 6th and last game of the stage and bound to be very interesting to finish as 1th in the group.


Only thing I regret is that Glasgow, Istanbul and Molde are all modern cities. I would have preferred at least one trip to an away game in Albania, Moldova or Ukraine.

Should be a good game, it's listed to be on ESPN 3 here in the States, so I will watch later tonight on-demand.

The Ajax line-up looks to be different than last weekends with Dijks available and Bazoer suspended. Serero may get his first minutes of the season as well. Schone might play at left wing, which is good, and Klaassen at CF with Fischer taking his #10 spot.
Guess we'll see how that all works out.

Well that was really pretty. Nice dribbling by Younes, one touch by Klaassen and Fischer clinical on the finish.

Cillesen really looked weak on that goal. Beautiful combination play for Klaasen's equalizer. (Oops -- Fischer's equalizer).

Celtic look pretty poor but we are making loads of mistakes so we are always in danger of giving up another counter goal.

Gudelj again not marking his man at the corner???

Gudelj gets beat badly on a corner and a free header for Celtic hits the back of the net.

How many times over the years have we given up cheap goals from corners and free kicks.

We generate one good goal and concede two cheap goals. How often have we seen this story. Riedewald and Sinkgraven have been quite bad. Just when I was beginning to like Gudelj he totally screws up defending a corner kick. This team cannot keep digging its own grave in matches like this.

Half time -- getting close to 2 AM, so I think I've seen enough. Impressions are: Sinkgraven has been next to worthless; Younes has been impressive; Cillesen looked hesitant on both goals -- like he couldn't decide what to do, so he did nothing -- good reaction save on the throw in play, though.

Gudelj gets beaten again by his man for the header.

When will De Boer use a DM in the DM role? He's using two players (SInkgraven and Gudelj) in the DM roles when they are not used to playing there.

BTW - I really like Younes. Hopefully we score 2 more in the 2nd half and not concede any more.

I think we now know the value of Bazoer to this club.

Just been at cricket today .came in saw 1-`1 , then 2-1 flashes up. Watching with Bt stream and just hope for a miracle.

Really stupid from behind tackle by Emilio who was already on a Yellow card. Celtic down to 10 men. Is this cause for optimism? I doubt it.

A TRAGIC performance today. We should control the game from the start and not fool around. Some guys in there underestimated Celtic and we saw what happened. I prefer winning with 1-0 than making useless passing around and creating unfinished chances.

It's as if they want to play into the same position in the front. When our wingers had the ball, Fisher and Klaassen would make extra passes for no reason, trying to make it hard or amazing. We just need to shoot the damn ball.

Anyway, I don't want to repeat myself and I already had an awful week. No need to bitch any longer...
