11 points adrift of PSV and eight matches left to play and the magic point number for the Lightbulbs is 13 as their goal differential is too much to over come. We can only get to 80 if we run the table and PSV stand at 67 right now. Let's hope the team shows any kind of attacking verve as it was totally absent in the EL match with Dnipro.

I don't think your math is correct. Feyenoord are on 48 points and can max out with eight wins to bring them to 72 points. Ajax have a GD lead on them of 13 which might be too great for Feyenoord to overcome. Ajax are on 56 points and would need to get to 72 which means 16 points from the eight remaining matches. Four wins won't do it unless we also draw the other remaining matches. Personally I think there is a small chance that we could slip to third given this team's lackadaisical performance.

You would think so, but most of the eight remaining games are against teams in the lower half of the table (including 4 of the 5 bottom teams). If they screw this up, we are really in trouble.

I go along with 4 wins .FWord will drop points ,certainly more than 4 ,AZ will drop points too. 12 more points from our 8 games will be ok for 2nd place.

I hope you all are right!!! If we do lock 2nd place up with 2-3 matches to go I would like to see some of the young players given a chance to play first team!!

Well Az lost again last night so we only need 12 points max to finish ahead of them.Next week Fword v PSV .

For this game I expect Riedewald for the suspended Viegever in the final 18 .

Kishna excluded from the squad for disciplinary reasons. I suppose this will be end of the line for him.

I just read that Kishna is closing in on a Psv transfer. That's sad and it could have Raiola written all over it

Sad news ,Kishna will leave and Raiola will take Tete as well, he clearly is not signing a new contract.

Not impressed with FDB or Overmars . We are playing rubbish football and now we are likely to lose our most talented winger and worse ,to PSV.

Ajax still have some control over where Kishna goes as they have an option to extend unlike the case with Tete. Unlike SPL, I'm not sure that FdB or Overmars can do much to change either situation. Regarding Kishna there have been some issues with FdB earlier this season. If Ajax want to really play hardball they will tell Raiola that he either moves abroad or Ajax extend the contract and Kishna sits at home watching television for the next two seasons. That's what I would do!!!!

Evidently Kishna and FDB had words at training. PSV is just a rumour.

We cannot win every year but our play has for the most part this season has been poor with us playing more in our own half.Thats down to FDB imo.

He must be gutted Sigthorsson is injured as he would much prefer Schone and Siggy in our front 3.

With luck we may pick up a point in this game.

Have to agree with SPL -- Frank has pig headedly stuck to basically the same lineup and tactics game after game, resulting in frustratingly mediocre team performances. IMO the problem is down to FdB's stubborn refusal to adapt -- both in terms of personnel and tactics.

What the hell is wrong with Ajax? Life can be made so easy! But some want to ruin it for everyone, e.g. Frank de Boer, Ricardo Kishna and especially Mino Raiola, although he is not at Ajax, he is just a predator.

I agree with this being the cause of our horrible football but I wonder if it's something that is stipulated by Cruijff and friends rather than something FdB specifically wants.

Agree with Sinkgraven for Serero but Andersen for Kishna ,no thanks. As with Schone playing there we are really 4-4-2 as Andersen /Schone are midfielders and not wingers.

I would settle for a draw.

Regarding Kishna/FdB; remember the same thing happened five years ago with el Hamdaoui and FdB. The striker was banished from the first team and gone the following summer. Maybe the same thing happens here, maybe not.

Looks like Moisander hurt himself in the warmup. Riedewald to replace him. This has to be our youngest starting lineup this season! I guess Grandpa Jesper is the oldest at 25...

With Van Rhijn being our oldest field player (23).

The only luck we seem to have is of the "bad" variety.
