Both clubs have Europa League matches on Thursday but PSV have the most difficult task being down 0-1 and traveling to Russia for a match. Ajax still have a mathematically chance to win the league and as a supporter, I have to believe in even the barest of possibilities.

Our drive for five starts in earnest tomorrow as we move to win out the rest of the way. Don't know whether the players carrying nicks (Klaassen and Serero) can go 90 but they are in the selection.

EDIT: I wish Fox Sports (Sky overseas) would carry Eredisie matches in the US as they have the Dutch rights. They don't even have it on Fox Soccer2go. I would gladly subscribe to the service if it guaranteed solid feeds to the US!

I really hate giving money to Fox... they have the rights to the eredivisie in lots of countries but don't actually show it, for example I don't think there's a completely legal way to watch it here in France or DE either. This was how they carried on when they first entered the Australian market too. Totally reasonable to use 'illegal' streams when they behave like that!

I agree that using streams is OK in the absence of a legal showing. I looked at the price of Fox Soccer2go here in the US and it is pretty steep for what they offer. Problem is that the Eredivisie is not followed much here in the US and I double anyone will pick up US rights to broadcast even though they might be quite inexpensive. ESPN used to carry a match or two every week prior to Sky getting the rights. As far as I know Sky only broadcast Dutch matches in The Netherlands and England.

Right, away at Eindhoven today. Found it surprising that they've not won the Eredivisie since the 2007-2008 season. They seem certain to end that streak this season with a 14 pt lead over Ajax. They have a great team and perhaps deserve it.

Of course as fans we want Ajax to win every game and every tittle but the current run of four championships in a row does seem over. I don't like it but that's football and we all can look to next season with lots of optimism.

With AZ's run of good results they are in third place and only 3 pts behind Ajax. Thus it's very important that Ajax gets a good result today and let PSV know that we're still dangerous.

Nice work by el Ghazi—no way Schöne beats two men and gets in a cross in that situation.

We're doing OK on defense, PSV are dominating and getting shots from distance but so far haven't had a lot going on inside our box. I suspect we're asking for trouble with the amount of possession we're conceding but maybe we can ride our luck!

Defense has done enough to keep PSV off the scoreboard. We did well on the one good chance to convert and seem to be in an attacking mode. Bazoer has been somewhat poor with his decisions and maybe Sinkgraven comes on at some point for him provided Klaassen can go 90. It's going to be a tough 2nd half as PSV want to keep their home record of not losing a match intact.

Seeing the way he got stepped on, I was thinking something similar -- broken shin bone -- I was amazed that he got up and kept playing.

That tackle by Bruma was the first time I disagreed with the match official's decision not to give a card. That could have been a season ending injury for Milik and should have been a Yellow. Viergever's challenge was reckless and deserved the card.

Wow, I need a break! Both team pushing it and looking to counter, great end to end stuff. No sitting back playing negative.

Referee was pretty lenient and the commentator wondered if he had left his cards in the locker room :) That foul on Milik certainly was worthy of a card. The ref did in fact have his cards and showed one to Viergever just before the half.

Really nice to hear our 1.200 Ajax fans much more noise than a complete PSV stadium all 45 minutes long!

I thought Viergever should've got a direct red against Willem II. Towards the end of the match he really lost his cool and started diving in all over the place, there was one particularly bad challenge where he had zero hope of getting the ball and just went in from behind (can't remember who it was on). It's good to tough guys at CB but it can be a liability if they're going to get themselves sent off in big matches.

Re. Bazoer he's having a slightly more difficult match with the PSV pressure but I still like the way he's playing. He tries to use the ball quickly and he's also not afraid to put in a tackle. Let's hope he keeps developing!
