On a one game streak right now and the possibility of making it two against a Twente team that has dropped their last two matches. Can Ajax score more than one goal during the run of play? Will the defense hold up? Will the player age be greater than 21? Again way too many questions to answer.

Moisander back, Veltman Serero and Klaassen all fit . Boer is back in training and so is Fischer,who is not that off a comeback.

V Rhijn has an injured left ankle and doubtful for this game and Andersen and Kishna both have flu.(Andersen still had flu last Sunday).Only player not mentioned was Siggy ,knee injury nothing known.

Out injured V Rhijn, Andersen although fit has lost 2kg due to flu and not yet ready,Siggy,Boer and Fischer.In addition Zimling went off from training today with some sort of severe muscle injury ,not yet known how bad.

Fischer may make his comeback forJong Ajax v Den Bosch on 23rd Feb,good news indeed.

For this game Tete is starting at RB and seems as if Schone stays at striker (as Zivkovic plays for Jong v Roda on Monday) so Milik on the bench again.

FDB has said with 2 midweek EC games coming up we have 5 games in 15 days and he will have to rotate his squad as some of the youngsters need protecting ie Klaassen has had problems with his groin again and wont play 3 games in a week.

Looks like Tete may slot in at right back though Veltman might also be a choice as well. I continue to be disappointed that Zivkovic is not given a spot in the selection. Schöne is likely to leave this summer and in any event is not a striker. The fact that Milik is no longer favored AND that he was not offered a contract in January leads me to think he is returning to Leverkusen. I really don't understand what FdB is thinking.

Best I can come up with is that since Milik isn't that spectacular, Zivkovic will be #1 as of next season so why take on another contract.

As for Zivkovic being stuck in the Jong I suppose FdB is trying to get on top of his attitude. I don't have any facts to back this up other than the constant scowl on Zivkovic's face.

De Boer will put Boilesen on the bench because of his poor performances.

Bazoer, Klaassen and Sinkgravenwill be our guys on the midfield.

Not that I totally disagree but at least in the half that I saw last week he was better than decent. One week he wears the captain's armband the next week he sits on the bench.

Boilesen had a reasonable game last week so thought he would play.We have 4 teenagers today and I think they 2.
still prefer to see Milik as striker although anybody but Siggy is a bonus.

Viergever replaces Boilsen is a good move but looks like VD Hoorn is on the bench. I don't agree with that.

This is another late one for me -- will end close to 2 in the morning -- I hope it turns out to be worth staying up for. Win, lose, or draw, I am just hoping for a good game (but, for sure, a win would be best )

Maybe it's the cold weather over here (-13C) that is causing the problems but 13th stream is not much better than the Russian webplayer feeds. Wish Wiziwig was still with us.
