Klaassen did not appear to be 100% fit last Sunday.Sinkgraven should start and I assume Kishna will start instead of El Ghazi.

I did read earlier that Cillessen was sick but should be fit in time.

A chance to open up some space between the trailing teams as both Feyenoord and Twente lost yesterday.

Talk of some sort of gastro bug at Ajax this week if I understood correctly, so we'll just have to wait and see who lines up tonight.

We should be fairly safe for second place from here. On the other hand, we certainly stink at the moment, so who knows...

Schone is striker! Milik dropped, well he has barely touched the ball in the last 3 games, and Andersen is on the bench not surprisingly.

I think we should have played Zivkovic as striker but I see why he is not on the bench as Milik is spare striker and Menig is cover for the wing. 4 teenagers starting plus 3 on the bench and an 8th Zivkovic excluded .We are getting younger all the time.

Hope you get a decent stream I am spoilt with sky 5 again.

I missed last weekends match - sounds like I didn't miss much - but will get to see today's game. Ajax had been struggling
for some time now and the championship seems to have slipped away. I guess it had to have happened at some point and for me it's not the end of the world, although missing out on CL qualification cash with hurt.

The important thing for the rest of the season is to play well and find the nucleus for next season. I'm excited about our new arrival Sinkgraven and looks like he will start today. If I'm reading correctly Schone will start at CF???? Will be very interesting, I think a little shake up is long over due.

I am also very happy about Van der Hoorn! He seems to have found some peace with himself and his interventions are better.

We have to do something about our free throws, they are AWFUL. Also, Boilesen is trying to do the extra thing to prove his worth, but it isn't working

much better play in the midfield. Players are actually running into space and completing passes. A couple of decent chance that should have been finished. Boilesen should have made a better pass when he was in and el Ghazi had two decent chances to score. At least the team isn't standing around which is a big improvement over the other games this new year.

Interesting move having Schöne at CF. Guess the idea is for him to play "false 9" (edit: as Souras already mentioned) i.e. pick the ball up deep and play through balls to the wingers. I'm not sold yet, but I do like the fact that it's allowing us to play two proper wingers.

One complaint though (never post without one!), what the hell is the point of Boilesen? Team clown? I'd be laughing, if I didn't want Ajax to win. Can't defend (although he's always out of position, so I can't say for sure he's actually TRYING to defend)... no good in the air... can't pass... can't beat his man...

And what does it mean for Viergever if he can't get a game instead of Boilesen?
