Milan have a lot of injuries, but they still have the quality, Im going to predict 1-1 or 1-3 to AC Milan

4-0 as we continue with the scoring rampage we began on Saturday evening!

Their midfield has suly muntari, their defense has Kevin Constant, dude, this is going to be an uphill battle, the game against GAE's was because after the own goal, they fell apart, this is a whole different ball game altogether

The Milan players look like a bunch of waiters in their team suits....

Important game. Even without Messi, it's pretty safe to say that Barca will go through to the play off rounds. So, milan is the very team we would need to beat to get to the top two of this group. And playing at home, I think we have to win this one (and get at least a point from the away fixture).

In the Arena, I think we can win any team in the world, but we will have to play at our best level. Clinical finishing, a bit of luck, and who ever is in goal will have to be flawless and come up with a couple of big saves. I believe we won't leave empty handed from this game.

Right, I'm going to put my money where my mouth is.....they looked reasonable on Saturday, wanting to score but the defence was absolute pants! The defensive midfield job is up for grabs, just hope that Duarte doesn't get it as too weak....there's no-one there to deal with Balotelli, ...can't see a win, even though I'd dearly like to be wrong! My money's on Milan @ 9/5, and also on Milan to win 2-1 @ 9/1.....I hope I'm wrong, but unless "him upstairs" helps, I might be a few quid up!!!

I'm not pessimistic about this one.

The Serie A is a different caliber than La Liga these days. FC Barcelona are a whole lot better than AC Milan. Moreover, AC Milan are off to a rather poor start in the league: they're 9th, having won only two out of their first six games. They were not very convincing against Celtic, either. So who knows.

They're the favourites, of course they are, but it's not like we don't stand a rat's chance hell, like against Barça...

I wouldn't be totally surprised if Ajax get a point, or... who knows.

I saw them at home against PSV and I think they're a bit better than their start to the season, or the English press, would lead us to believe. From the highlights they were quite lucky against Celtic. I rate them similarly to Man City last season, i.e. they have a decent squad (definitely better than ours) but they don't always play decent football.

I say we're in with a chance for three points, but yeah, who knows.

I'd like to be wrong, Tom...I really would! Nothing would please me more that an Ajax win....it's just the triangle around the defence that worries me, the two central defenders and the deep midfield player.....if they play out of their skin with 120% concentration, there is a chance, but have we got 3 players who can do this for 90 minutes?
If you analyse the defence over the last 3 games, the two central defenders have been drawn out of position much too easily with no-one to fill the void.....as I said, 120% and they might get something!
I'll be shouting all the way from Crete....if they ALL show the dedication and effort of Fischer in the last game, they really could win.....come on Ajax....PROVE YOU WANT TO WEAR THE SHIRT!!!!

We're gonna win this one!

And if I'm correct than it will be 5 wins for Ajax, 4 wins for Milan and 2 draws in our Europacup history with them!

Same old story: lots of possession, no goals. Making me nervous; Milan is packing in, daring us to break them down, and all I can see is Balotelli breaking loose on a counter....

Yeah, Milan really do not care how they look on TV. They dig themselves in and indeed hoping for a counterattack.

I wonder if their supporters enjoy watching them play?

Check out how organised they are on defense though. They're very effective at preventing us from moving the ball in front of their box—the only times we've been over the halfway line, we've been squeezed right along the sideline.

Maybe we have an 18 year old striker we can throw in, for the winning goal in the 84th minute?

Wow, never thought I would see a Milan team play such negative football. Maybe they think catenaccio is the only way to get out of Amsterdam with their shirts on. Did Cillessen even have to save a single shot? It's going to be tough to break down Milan as they are packing seven really tight and then trying to double team who ever tries to come up the wing with the ball. We had a couple of half chances to score and it's nice to see good movement thus far. Can't see more than a single goal scored if this keeps up.

I think he has a son in the Ajax youth program but he's only 12 or 13 years old. A little too young to get thrown into this mix!

I believe our best chance to score is from some kind of set-piece. Milan will be pleased with 1 point from an away game.

one way of looking at it is that milan came in with their tail between their legs. We had more chances than milan. Just got to make one chance count and force them to open up their defence. Let's just be carefull with possession and watch out for the counter attack. We can win this game.

I'm really enjoying the game. This is exactly what Milan did against PSV in the return leg in Italy and exactly what de Boer would've been expecting. So far, we haven't made TOO many risky passes into the midfield zone, which is where they aim to win the ball from us. If we don't cough up the ball there, they can't counter quickly like they want to...

not alot to add a very negative Milan team but they will be hard to break down.
