None of our competitors dropped points in their Saturday games - PSV and Vitesse are now level with us on 60 pts (with PSV ahead of us on goal difference), and Feyenoord just behind at 59 - so this is an absolute 'must-win', indeed.

ESPN3 is not showing the game today even though they scheduled it mid-week. Anyone have a SopCast link??

Kobi finally makes a good combination

I'm pretty happy with what I've seen so far. Plenty of possession and some good combinations. Also good pressure to win the ball back in their half. We're making it difficult for them to create anything. The stakes are high and it seems our guys understand that. There's no fooling around.

Still really hoping for another goal. A one goal lead is so fragile. Heracles can score if we give them time and space or they might get a lucky bounce or a goal from a set piece or whatever. We need to make sure that the points stay in Amsterdam.

Absolutely mediocre first half. I really wonder about Sigthorsson. He had a good assist on the goal by Schöne but couldn't hold the ball up otherwise and he should have done better on the two chances he had. Lots of aimless passing against a team that is dropping everyone behind the ball when we are in possession. Vermeer should really thank Alderwiereld for saving his bacon on the cross that he mishandled, Castillion should have buried the ball in the back of the net. I don't think FdB was pleased with this performance!

I'd like to see Hoesen come on in the second half at some point. I think he could provide a little more offensive punch.

It is critical that Moisander doesn't get carded in the 2nd half as he would be suspended for next week.

Well that was one of the biggest bondhead plays of the season. Crap defending to give away the break and a dumb play by Vermeer to go in on the challenge. No complaints about the Red card from me.
