Good old Theo said we'd meet again.

In the cup game tomorrow there is going to be a great chance to do a little dress rehearsal with whomever will replace Moisander against Vitesse. I guess the choises are Blind (Dijks as a left back) or Denswil if FdB wants a left footed CB. Blind didn't exactly impress me the last time he played in that position, but he has developed since then and at least he has a good match rhythm as he has played a lot recently. Denswil has only played with Jong Ajax so it could be a bit of a gamble to throw him in to the starting line up against vitesse that is in a good form.

One way or the other the absence of moisander is problem that we can deal with. We need points so let's put in a performance like we did against man city. If we do that the points will stay in Amsterdam.

So no Sulejmani and given his recent poor peformances as sub ,especially Sneek, I would not bother with him again. From the little I have seen of him this season he is a waste of space and the sooner he leaves the better.Lets see the new talent of Fischer and Andersen .

PS.Lukoki has injured his knee and Boerrigter has said his back is painful after the knee in the back v Sneek . Didn't think he would be involved tomorrow.

The team keeps getting younger each week.

I think Sulejmani has been finally dismissed by Frank.
He said "He has an expiring contract and I have to take decisions". No one will complain if he goes with reserves until the winter break and then finds a new club in Turkey or so.
Happy for Andersen and for this younger and younger team. We have plenty of talent here. Maybe we won't be champions (but I still believe in it), certainly we are building a good future.

Sulejmani was shockingly poor in the cup match the other day against marginal competition. Now maybe he hasn't fully recovered from his injury but the fact that he has had problems staying in match shape even when health speaks volumes. Unfortunately, he will go down as the worst purchase in Ajax history (I know there have been other bad buys but were any of them as much as we paid here?).

I'm gonna be there tomorrow I0m glad I get to see denswil Eeredivise debut, I really think He will develop into a starter very soon.

Frank seems to just be gradually blooding the youngsters ie Dijks Sporkslede Boccara de Sa Hoesen have all been given the odd appearance and now Denswil and Andersen .He is not rushing them in just giving them some experience .Fischer would appear to be on verge of breaking through properly and I can see him being a regular sub and coming on most games until the winter break at least .

Phew. That was a terrible back pass by Poulsen. Don't know how we aren't down 0-1.

BTW good pressure by Denswil to force the shot.

We are out of ideas and our best scoring chance was an individual effort be De Jong.

We had a couple of chances but could not convert. Poor defending by van Rhijn lets his man get past and Vitesse get a nice goal by Bony to go up 1-0. van Rhijn needs to get his head in the match defensively, he's not doing a particularly good job of marking his winger. Poulsen had a very bad back pass as noted but otherwise did a good job of defending in the middle of the pitch. Passing was hot and cold and too many balls over the top were played. Babel is surprisingly poor today, shooting from distance without a prayer of the ball being on target. Glad to see that Theo Janssen is as static as ever in the midfield, Ajax just have to take advantage of this. I think there are some more goals in this game. Vitesse other than a couple of times has not impressed.

Maybe FdB should try to wake the team up with subs. Lot's of players who are performing under par out there, but who could bring something from the bench?

I missed the second goal. But we're looking awful all over the pitch. Vitesse don't look like they'll have any problems hanging onto the lead.

We have no leader of any kind on the pitch - a man who can cry out on players in these days of mediocrity.

Did we make any chances in that entire game?

That's what we deserved. We had it coming and we avoided it for around 10 games...
Unfortunately it is classic November Ajax again. Injuries, new players, underperforming etc. plus the CL fact and you have the pattern! Let's get going soon and ditch European proceeding

woeful and very poor performance Eriksen did his best and some bright moments from Fischer but I really cannot see this squad winning the league this season.

We have no back up ie kids for reserve defenders no spare midfielders apart from the very limited Enoh and the attackers are not good enough .Boerrigter was just a complete waste of space today . The vast majority of our best players are having to play 2 games a week and its showing.
