Eredivisie 2011-2012, matchday 34: the champions visit Arnhem.

Not a very important game. Frank can rest a few players. Perhaps some of the guys who play Euro 2012 this summer can go on a holiday or something. Let's play some youngsters and reserves.

Yet, I think we should win this one. Let's finish the season in style, with a string of fourteen wins (fifteen, if you include Manchester).

Winning this game is of no importance, so I agree it would be a nice 'thank you for your effort' to field a team of the youngsters and reserves. Win or lose who cares -- just see it as an extension of the championship celebration. (If we win, all the better, of course.)

FdB said some players who did not get much action during the run to the title will be playing on Sunday but did not say which ones. Eriksen and Boerrigter are out of the selection because of injury. I worry about Boerrigter and this back problem he has been having and whether it becomes a chronic issue.

bad news this game is not on dutch tv as its a dead game with nothing on it eredivise live will show the other games and of course all games Ko 14.30 CET.But the game is being shown live on eredivise tv internet channel if you are a subscriber. Well I have missed just one game this season ie 1st game v Heerenveen and about the only game I got an indifferent stream was RKC a few weeks ago so I have been very lucky.
I think ESPN have shown us between 25 and 30 times but the games here in Uk are always shown the next morning so I have stuck to sopcast .

I had decided to miss this game but if its raining here ,which it has nearly every day for the last month, it seems as if I will be unlucky.After VVV game on Weds this game will be an anti climax but we still want a win.

Looks like a few reserves will play and Eriksen is not playing.

Isn't this game important for Vitesse in any way (play-offs or something, I don't even know how all that shit works)...

No, they are in 7th place and cannot finish any higher or lower so they are in the playoffs. This really is a fixture that matters only for keeping the Ajax streak of wins alive; it doesn't impact the table at all. It will be interesting to see who FdB puts on the pitch.

EDIT: According to de Telegraaf, Sigthorrson will also miss the match because of a slight knee injury.

The fact our A1 had a vital game today meant players like Klaassen and Denswil are not in the squad but thought Jong Ajax players Veltman or Koppers may have got in the squad.

Sigy and Eriksen listed as having slight aches from Weds .

I suspect that both Bulykin and Lodeiro will start tomorrow since this may be their last matches at Ajax.

Like SPL pointed out: this game will not be shown on Eredivisie Live, as all games are played simultanously and Vitesse vs Ajax is the only one in which nothing is at stake anymore...

I came in at about the half hour mark since I didn't think there would be a stream for this match. At least the part I saw (did not see the Vitesse goal), the team looked pretty decent given we have a slower than molasses midfield. Janssen really should have done better with the shot he had near the end of the half and Aissati might have picked out someone cutting for the goal but he did have a decent look at goal. de Jong picked up a knock on his knee so we'll need to see if there is a sub coming on.

glad I am not on my own .We seem to wake up after our goal. The stream is not too bad its taken from Bet365 I believe so we finish the season with english commentator
