So Toby misses the contest; will FdB go with Blind again in the middle of defense? Aissati is recovered and will he start instead of Ebecilio? Will Ozzie get any PT? The biggest news is that Janssen is not available (injury or yellow card accumulation?) so what will the midfield look like? Lots of interesting choices for tomorrow.

A terrible first half of football and it's only fitting that the only score is an own goal. Sleepwalking through the first 10 minutes and we are lucky that the opponents are not very good other wise we should have conceded two goals. Too many bad passes all over the field with the result there is no attack at all (Vertonghen has the only decent shot on goal and that was from distance; every other shot was too soft). The lack of width is especially bad and there seems to be no thought in any player's mind about proper offensive positioning. We will need at least one more goal since there is the likelihood of conceding a cheap goal to Wallwijk.

Hope Anita is OK; looks like he just took a knock on the knee.

It looks like Anita is injured... Hope he's not hurt badly.

We play badly, creating numerous turnovers and loosing ball often. It seemed to me that Enoh played some time as centre back. We can't control the ball and generally attacking play is not organized which is not a surprise given a number if changes to the midfield and attack. But still we should do better as it's only RKC against us.

Quite lucky on the goal though.

Was Blind offside on that disallowed goal? That seemed perfectly legit to me.

Just saw the replay - everyone was onside by at least 2-3 yards. What was that decision all about?

I can't work it out. Blind was several (like, 4 or 5) yards ONSIDE from what I can tell. Must be something else?

They showed two replays -- neither time could I see and offside. Maybe it was the angle and there really was an offside, but it sure didn't look like it from the replay angle.

Maybe it's a new fad to call every Ajax goal an offside.

I agree. Seriously what the hell was wrong with that. Problem is our players didn't go ape-shit at the refs either. They were just like "oh well"

The only thing I could think of was if the linesman thought Sulejmani played it on the way through, and at that time Blind was offside. But Sulejmani didn't touch it, and even if he had, Blind was still behind the ball.

Our attack is completely impotent today. It says a lot when the man most likely to score is our centre half.

Right about now, I would bring on Ozbiliz for Suleijmani

I was just about to write that I see Klassen every 5 minutes and then he appears out of nowhere and gets us a penalty and RKC a red card.....lool

I would say that since there's been a disallowed goal, missed penalty, and the other team is down to 10 men, we're odds-on to concede an equalizer pretty soon.

Your analysis is spot on.

Back to that pitty pat crap -- all it takes is one counter attack or some luck on a set piece and we will have blown it -- go out and get that second goal and quit crapping around
