I am expecting Ligeon to play right back with Anita LB. My obscure reason in todays report of our A1's 2-0 win v Groningen the regular right back Sven Nieuwpoort was withdrawn at half time as he is joining Jong Ajax for Monday's game .I thus assume Ligeon will be playing tomorrow for the first .

If I am wrong then I am talking crap as usual!!

Its raining and storming in Holland right now... So the pitch will be heavy and slow... not the best ingredients to start winning, but we have to start somewhere!

its not too late; we are much better than this, AZ is not going to win every game and last season we were down more than 10 points far later than now

we just need to worry about our own shit and take three points in the next game... and so on

Well my theroy was right as Ligeon is playing

Vermeer,Ligeon,Alderweireld,Vertonghen,Anita,Enoh,Eriksen,Janssen, Sulejmani,Lodeiro,Ebecilio

3 points today and no stupid defensive mistakes for a change .

Would have been nice to see Aissati start instead of Janssen. It would have been a much more mobile midfield.

Conditions are looking quite tough

Just got home and tuned into the game. It's a sure sign of how things have been going lately that the first thing I looked at was the score and felt total relief to see that we weren't behind.

the one positive thing is we didn't concede any goals, but again we look ike a very mediocre team in the Eeredivise. We created very few chances and on were particularly clear. A lot of dumb passing happening at the back between Vertonghen and Vermeer, always resulting in easy pressure by NEC and me having to hold my breath. Ligeon ooked a little nervous but had a couple of good runs reaching the touchline.

The team looks like they are playing on New Year's day after a full evening of drink and partying. Ebecilio looks slow as molasses and cannot even beat his man to the corner. Sulejmani is more interested in flopping trying to draw a non-existent penalty. Janssen is a major liability on offense and defense. Lodeiro tries but just doesn't have a clue about how to play up front (no crime there since that is not his position). NEC is pressing hoping Vermeer will kick poorly (which he is doing but fortunately it hasn't hurt us yet). Ligeon is active going forward and Enoh is playing well. Eriksen doesn't have any options when he has the ball in the middle of the field.

Aissati needs to come on for Janssen to give the team a spark.

Please, not this shit again.. After positive game in CL, we're back on our ''Eredivisie form''. Do something Frank! For fu*k sake.

We're up, great play by Anita and nice pass by Janssen, and Sulejmani finishes in front of the goaline.

Never fails -- I step away for a minute to take care of some things and wind up missing the goal.

That came from one of the few times this half where we've been able to advance the ball directly through the midfield, rather than knocking it around at the back before a defender eventually hoofs it forward.

I watched 45 minutes of crap..walk away at the beginning of the 2nd half and goal.

and finally Toby Jan and Vermeer have an argument over the handling of that cross from the left.....they want this for a change.

That Vermeer can give you a heart attack -- talk about Dr. Jeykell and Mr. Hyde...
