I was on holiday for the past three weeks, I didn't read a newspaper, I didn't surf the web, so I missed Ajax's entire pre-season campaign so far.

So this is going to be my personal 'first game of the season': Brøndby IF at Copenhagen's Brøndby Stadium. Kick-off time: 18.30 CET.

You didn't miss much. A few injuries. A few results over minnows. A thud against Nurnberg in a meaningless Saturday kickabout. Honestly, I'm more excited to see my Philadelphia Union vs. Everton at our barn on Wednesday.

Aissati is back with the first team. We had 8 midfielders in action yesterday and V d Heijden unused so thats only 10 to pick from for this game and an 11 th one Lodeiro is not yet back.Do we really need 11 players for 3 positions!!

Of course not, especially when only 4 or max 5 of them have the required level.

so only 6 midfielders but when you see the sqaud plus not picked listed like this you realise why I say 11 midfielders are too many ie about 3 too many imo

Watching it on sopcast DSC4 .Alot better than Saturday's game and Sigthorson scored a good goal.

Thulani Serero with the 0:2 , followed by Lorenzo Ebecilio and the 0:3 !!

An easy 3-0 win and very comfortable for Ajax . Serero looked very lively and took his goal well.

Serero MOTM, no doubt.

I know this are just friendlies and even if we lost we shouldn't make a big deal out of them. but anyway, to anyone who watched the game, dide brondby field their strongest players? Ddid we defeat quiality opposition?
