Because of a quirk in the league schedule and the two legged cup final, we will be playing our arch-rivals for the fifth time this calendar year! I suspect that this has never happened before. We drew 1-1 back in January; won both legs in the cup final: 2-0 & 1-4; and beat them in Rotterdam back in September, 1-2. Let's keep this winning streak going on Sunday.

El Ham and V de Wiel have flu . Frank de Boer has been talking up Daley so it will be interesting to see
if he were to play instead of Greg. Also I think Lukoki will be on the bench. Still not contracted but that is not unique Zeegelaar played v Volendam in the Cup in 2008/09 and had no contract coming out of the A1 youth team . Mind that was 2years ago and he has not really progressed.

Ajax speelt zondagmiddag de enige échte Klassieker die ons land rijk is: Ajax - Feyenoord. Vanaf 12:30 uur staat Frank de Boer voor het eerst als trainer bij die altijd interessante wedstrijd langs de lijn. Zaterdagmiddag maakte hij zijn selectie bekend.

I expect this fixture to be called off...

The pitch will be okay, that's not the problem. I can remember one time (five years ago or something) when Ajax vs AZ got called off due to the layer of snow on the roof of the ArenA: there was a risk that it would slide and fall down. But normally, stadium and pitch can stand this.

The problem is that it is pretty much impossible for 50,000 people from all over the country to get to the ArenA. An extra 30 centimetres of snow came down this night in places like Utrecht and Rotterdam (not as much in Amsterdam, as far as I can see from my window). There are hardly any trains and I read reports that the motorways are pretty dangerous.

We'll see what happens...

KNVB have suggested 19 January (20:00 CET) as the new date, but this date has not been made official juist yet.

I was due to be on possibly the same flight. With KLM supposed to leave around 16:30? Typical it was only an hour after the crash. Next one for me will be AZ now in March

So annoying about this match being postponed. I had a feeling Ajax were ready to seriously rip them to pieces. Still, the rearranged match will be a night game, which usually creates a better atmosphere (if that is possible against these lot!)

Bugger, not only will that be the middle of the night here, but I'll be on holiday with no internet...

It's gonna be a tight game. Ajax is the better side by far, but you don't know how players are comming back from the winterbreak. Also we miss a couple of guys that have some experience on how to handle these kind of high pressure games. We knew about the absence of Suarez, but that we miss El-Ham and Urby is an extra burden.

I hope 2-0.

Lukoki will get on the bench this time . Still no contract !! Why no Ozbiliz? 7 listed defenders not sure why Oleguer is needed.

I read Ozbiliz has shin problems hence he is not in the squad.
