Nope, he's recovered from his knee injury and can play.

Apparently Dwight Tiendalli is out, suffering from a hip injury. Nicky Kuiper will replace him Saturday. Don't know whether that makes a big difference; I'm not too impressed with Tiendalli's qualities anyway.

Damn, we hit the crossbar once, the post twice and had a couple of other clear shots. We should have at least 2 if not 3 goals this half. The Twente defense is terrible and we are getting all kinds of room on the left with Anita and Urby. I'm unimpressed with Douglas who has made some terrible mistakes on their back line and Rosales can't cover at all. Let's get a couple in the next half and head home with 3 points.

Yeah, we do need to be more careful about the trap; it failed miserably as nobody picked up Janssen on his run.

OK, Groningen got a late equaliser against PSV, which is good for us anyway.

This really sucks! We should have won this match; no question about it. I beginning to really think that we need to find a new manager. Jol seems to have no clue about getting this team to play consistent football. If you look at the first 20 minutes when we were passing and creating overlaps, that was Ajax football. Then it disintegrated into English semi-long ball. Enoh was lucky to redeem himself as he had an otherwise poor match conceding possession and making some foolish fouls. Stekelenburg saved us on at least three occasions. We really need to do something about the midfield as having Lindgren and Enoh on the field at the same time is not good. I'm disappointed with the result (but glad to have the one point).

Might I remind you what we looked like with the likes of Marco van Basten, Adrie Koster and Ronald Koeman as manager? The reality is that we just drew away to the defending champions. Perhaps we didn't look like Ajax circa 1973, but we're far more pleasing on the eye than we have been in the last five years or so. Complaining about the the style of play is what got Co Adriaanse run out of here, and he was probably the last good manager we had.

Ok yes we should have won this game and we nearly lost it..but we didnt.

Lets put this into perspective, last year we lost against 3 teams in the league (im pretty sure it was just Twente, PSV and Utrect?) but anyway, this season we didnt lose to Twente away, so in my eyes thats an improvement. I think our downfall is always against the smaller teams who grind draws out of us. Personally I'm more upset that we drew with Groningen than Twente (massive props to them for holding the Lightbulbs in Eindhoven btw)

We're top of the league by two points and we didnt lose a match we lost last year. Let's look to the future :)
