Mr. Jol, please field the reserve squad, there's no need to play first team before important games against Twente and Milan. Some young players like Eriksen, Bonevacia and Josefzoon may benefit from gaining some real first team expirience.

Demy is back in Jol's camp today and is captaining the squad.

Either our opponents are really slow or Jozefson is really fast. Anyway, he crosses to El Hamdaoui who gets goal #1.

GOAL Josefzoon rinsed the defenders good and proper and El Hamdaoui stuck away an excellent first time shot! Perfect goal :)

This team is making Josefzoon look like freakin Messi haha

I expected to see Blind and Eriksen playing. Hopefully they will come as subs.

Wasn't able to catch this game but Jozefzoon appears to have played well . I will remember his first touch of a ball for Ajax first team ie a lovely cross to set up a goal v Vitesse.Will be good to see him and Bonevacia break through .

I thought he did very well in the match. I can't remember the last time that a winger of his apparent quality came up to the first team.

yeah. the latest specialists of this key role at ajax and "made in ajax" were de ridder and de mul, if I am not wrong, and we all know how their career has gone (although the belgian wasn't that bad: he simply wasted everything going to sevilla which is not is level).
he has pace, passing skills and is a good athlete. let's hope he continues like this, step by step
