I am extremely happy with the fact that we have a better #9 and the bench has 4 pretty good youth players. Compare that with last year's bench. I definitely see a good progression here.

By the way: Roda JC received some financial aid from the city of Kerkrade. In return, it was demanded that Roda JC will call themselves Roda JC Kerkrade from now on. It's a detail, but that's the official club name from now on (same thing happened to RKC, NAC, Sparta and RBC, for example).

This is looking remarkably easy for Ajax... I hope they don't have cause to regret all these easy chances they are squandering. At present, Roda doesn't look capable of making this close.

very easy win Suarez and El H worked well. I too could not get NVs so tried rojadirecta.com and they had 2 streams one was in Dutch and worked ok . May have to try this in future if NVS doesn't work .

The clean sheet makes me happier than the goals, our defence is going to have to be top notch against Dynamo.

When i seen Luis taking his daughter out before the game and in an Ajax top this to me was the clearest sign that Suarez will stay with the club at least for this season. I know he has his critics and rightly so as he can be really frustrating but to me Suarez has never shown less than 100% to the cause of the club.

Suarez obviously has a special place in his heart for this club and really people should recognise this more. He was not born in Netherlands and did not come through our youth system but he has shown more loyalty to Ajax than many who have been given their chance this way, those who play one season with the full Ajax team having come through our youth system and bugger off at the first sign off for bigger money without repaying the fans with what we want - the 30th Eredivise title. Their is no doubt that Suarez could head off to pastures new for more money but he hasnt.

I was very sceptical when he was made Captain but to me it was an inspired move by Jol. Over the last year since the appointment he seems to have matured a lot, well he dives a lot less now but its the little touches like signing a years extension to his contract in the last winter break which has impressed me. Our previous captain, another forward, whilst injured with Ajax appeared in his new clubs colours, something I found unforgiveable as a our Captain. That same persons career has not exactly blossomed since and although as an ex-player of ours I do wish him well but as Captain at a club you never ever do things like that, as Captain you should be inspirational to people around you and I am afraid that was something KJH was not.

Their is no doubt Suarez will leave at some stage but I do hope he wins the title with us as I think he would enjoy it as much as we do.

I hope I am not tempting fate before the transfer deadline but I dont think he would be as cynical to do what he did last night and then disapear.

To me Luis Suarez is not only a great player but a decent human being off the pitch, I salute you wee man. Suarez is everything I love about the game of football - annoying, frustrating but with the touch of genius which makes you wonder how he did that. Love it. And as a passionate Scot, his actions for his country Uruguay in WC were something that spoke volumes - might not be legal, people might hate you for what you did but you did what you did for love of your country, i loved it.

PS I enjoyed the game last night, enjoyable Saturday night and good to see a few of the English lads over for the game too.
