We finally have a complete selection. We had to get through the past 3-4 weeks with players missing and you could say that we did a decent job at the end of the day with a few hiccups - a win and a draw in the Eredivisie and 2 draws in the 3rd qualification round of the CL.

Lets see if these kids have the hunger to put it past Kiev.

This game probably comes too early. On a positive note, this may be the first game this season where Ajax is not expected to dictate play. Hopefully that means we'll see a different kind of game with a less exposed Ajax defense. Let's try to keep a clean sheet for a change. That would be something to build on.

A clean sheet would be best possible result, especially if we manage an away goal. Hopefully we have had enought time to get our defense back in synch.

It's going to be challenge, but we can do it.

It will be a challenge but I'm feeling a little more optimistic from our NT match with Ukraine last week. We started a real young team and only allowed the one goal on the free kick (which Steks might have saved). I think our young kids can do the job. They just need to focus on defense and don't give up the cheap goal.

Suarez must also be fired up for this game since he has watched the last couple of games from the stands.

We can do it, we are at least as good as Dynamo Kiev. The disadvantage is I believe their season has been running a bit longer. I'm not sure if they have any suspensions or injuries, but we have a full team, so no excuses.

Well, we are in some kind of do-or-die situation for this generation of Ajax. We need to qualify to keep all the players, I really don't want to see the sell-out because of lack of funds.

As for the game. Dynamo is having some problems at the moments. Their defence and keeper are very beatable at the moment. Gazzaev put the blame (possibly some media exaggeration) on the keeper Boyko after the last league game (defeat 1-3 against Vorskla). Boyko is only 22 and has been a starter since the beginning of season and is under a pressure now.

There too many rumours about Milevskiy leaving. His contract is soon too expire and he can leave on Bosman. He is clearly out of shape now. Shevchenko leads Dynamo with the 5 goals in league. He is onform now and was rested during the last league game (as well as some midfielders).

The only serious advantage of Dynamo is their physical strength - they are dangerous on corners/free-kicks and our Dwarven Alliance is vulnerable there.

One funny thing in the end - Dynamo is playing 4-3-3 formation (closer to Mourinho's version than to our classical one). Shevchenko is used as a right winger when Milevskiy is on the pitch or as a central striker when Milevskiy is absent.

So let's go and grab a win now, this is a suitable moment for us.

I just saw that too. I wonder if this is related to Toby's not so perfect displays of defending this season or if it is related to Oleguer's experience at this level.
