If we beat Twente we close in on them 33%. PSV are not looking great...

What does it all mean?

Not sure. Fact is that I, personally, don't believe we can still win that title.

As I look back to our local NBA team's championship season way back in 1978, "...the opera ain't over until the fat lady sings!" Strange things happen and the games need to be played.

I think that you have had one too many beers Ko. Think you are getting the game with Roda muddled with the one with Twente

I was already wondering too: a 20.15 kickoff on a sunday? We do have a late kick-off though still with the game starting at 16.30, but Roda is first!

a few thoughts:

- i think that may be it for the title, barring some last minute transfers from them or some sort of injury crisis... once again, we dont seem to get all the points we should and bit by bit it costs... this may be the too many bits part with two teams instead of one to chase

- apparently, mr. vink had far better visibility to see black fouls than he did to see red/white fouls... what a shocker

- suarez needs a goal, hes finally hit a rough patch... of course, he never has a running slump... nobody wants to run more than luis, its like he hates to stop running

- before long, some big club is going to come bid more than we would think for vertonghen and he'll blow up somewhere else (a la vermaelen)

- the anita sub was great thinking... but why was lindgren left out there with us needing a goal... thank goodness lodeiro is in for the next one, i hope hes ready to roll

- i love pantelic, hes just... electric in every way, adds energy and is eager to combo

- thank goodness it was el-ahmadi that always had the great chance fall to him... he could not hit the sea from the shore today

- i dont think eriksen is quite ready... i was quite dismayed to see him hit an awful late corner... shoulda been urby taking, his corners have really improved and he's essentially useless in the air anyway

Okay: Ajax vs Twente (Sunday 07 Feb @ 16:30 CET) is not our next match. Our next one is Ajax vs Roda, for which I will start a thread right now...

The Twente fixture is the one after that.

I believe we still can. Our fate is in our hands and IMO it all depends on the Ajax-Twente and Ajax-Philips games : if we do win those two games, I think we'll be champions. Otherwise ...
