I'm torn - I'd love to see us start like ten or eleven youth academy players, but I would also like to see us win the group. It would be awesome if we could do both.

I'll settle for a win and Christian Eriksen gets his first European night appearance.

I couldn't agree more. Seeing alot of academy players would be really nice, althought securing the #1 would be nice too. If we could do both, that would make my weekend.

One thing's for sure: it's gonna a cold-ass evening. One of those really cold European nights at the ArenA. I love 'em. One of my favourites was Ajax vs AS Roma in late 2002. The Italian fans were freezing to death in the streets of Amsterdam, while we were getting pissed at the pub and oh yeah, we hammered them (2-1, but we really were ten times better) and eventually knocked them out of the Champions League.

Yeah, I remember that game. My countryman Zlatan scored 1-0 and my favorite player Litmanen scored the 2-0 goal if I remember correctly. I was so happy after that game :)

Exactly. Zlatan's goal was a silly one: the keeper dropped the ball and all Zlatan had to do was tap it into the net. Jari's goal was absolutely stunning. Unforgettable. From the edge of the box he 'lifted' the ball into the far top corner. From behind the goal you could beautifully see it coming.

Yeah, wish I could have seen it live :( I still haven't seen an Ajax game Live, and it sucks. My girlfriend's family is from Holland though, so I will be making alot of trips down there, so my chances of actually seeing a live game has increased alot :)

Yes, Suarez has a sore knee. Unsure if surgery will be required.
