The only good thing about this tie is that Slovan failed miserably yesterday.....is that going to help us, or were they just "playing"??

Let's hope that Jol's given them a REALLY BIG KICK UP THE BACKSIDE...!

Ajax better take this lot seriously. We didn't exactly destroy MSK Zilina last year and Slovan Bratislava finished eight points ahead of them. We will have to perform well and get a result in the home game, otherwise we may get into serious trouble in Slovakia. I kid you not. Tricky opponent, this.

I had no idea that Silva played enough minutes in Europe last season to accumulate even one card. Who knew?

I remember he got a red in his last game .Siem ought to be in the squad as just about every one else not in the squad and are fit can leave.

Every opponent is tricky for the current Ajax squad Ko, sadly enough.

I really hope we show our mettle is this game, we need a performance of considerable quality in order to cheer me up after the weekend :)

I don't know why -- but these East European teams always seem to give us trouble. Let's hope we have a really good game and make the second leg a mere formality.

My hope is that every Ajax fan in Amsterdam will be at the Arena to support our team, and be rewarded with something like a 3-1 win.

Not every, but many opponents are, for sure. This one surely is.

Will be lucky if there is 20,000 at the game and once again Ajaxs ridicioulous pricing policy has had a large factor in this, well for me anyway.

Top tier bar where VAK 410 is closed so everybody forced to bottom tier. Behind goals in traditional F side and opposite end are Eur 19.50 but not everybody wants to go behind goals, I dont. Next price is Eur 33.50 and Eur 41. Sorry but there is no fuckin way in the world I am paying that for a European League qualifier against a team from Slovakia. Could care if it doesnt make me a true fan or not, these prices at the end of the holiday period and during a recession are out of order.

Anyway good luck to the team and hope get a result tonight that makes 2nd leg next week a formality, that includes not conceding any goals tonight

Wow, I didn't realise the price was so high. For the goals are reasonable, but for a side view that's a rediculous price.

Let's hope those who pay it aren't dissapointed! Personally, I think this lot will be a tough nut to crack. I can see a 1-0 win or maybe a 1-1. Certainly don't expect a walkover.

Our passing is a touch to heavy and it's going to be tough to break these guys down. they are really packing it in. Atouba better stop with the reckless play.
