Hi Ko...no, I'm not over for this one, but I've only got one card this year. My card's with our friend from Overtoom...and he's also got those from our Scottish and Kentish friends..if that's any help!

If I've read read it correctly it says that the Sparta fans will boycott the game in protest at Amsterdam Mayor Job Cohen's insistence on a (restricted and expensive) compulsory buscombi scheme for visitng supporters.

The buscombi is basically what is says, a travel/match ticket combination which sounds good but is usually overpriced and definately restrictive. In this case I assume it will be a train, not a bus which will go non stop from Rotterdam, straight to the stadium with no prospect of visiting Amsterdam city before or after the game and presumably no prospect of any visiting supporters living away from Rotterdam from going to the game at all, unless they go to R'dam first.

Obviously there to prevent hooliganism but a bit of a sledgehammer to crack a nut in Sparta's and some of the other "smaller" teams case, hence the fan protest.

Strange: Atouba is not in the squad... Out of favor already? That we be a bit odd, wouldn't it?

According to De Telegraaf, he is at rest because he missed a part of the preparation campaign and played two games this week.

Lovely through pass by DeZeeuw -- almost had the first one.

Couple of interesting interpretations of finishing so far

Suarez seems a little bit off his game so far -- DeZ impresses me more and more with each game.

I saw Boakye and Peopon in the Sparta lineup. Who would the third be?

Certainly an alternative approach to finishing by Urby there - should have got his laces through the ball. Not sure what he was trying to do.
