Well there is a seat in 411 that will be empty.

I am glad I eventually cancelled the trip for the last home game of the season. I will not have to stand this bunch of losers during 90 mn. Not to mention the grim atmosphere I expect at the Arena on this occasion.

(Ajax need to win at least one point in the final match of the season, against Twente, to stay in third place. Philips are three points behind, but have a better goal difference.)

Really conflicted about whether to watch this one or not. Given the game day roster, where is the goal (can't see us getting more than one) going to come from. Will this be Stek's last match between the posts (probably but it's also hard to see what his transfer value will be come summertime)?

Yeah, it's pretty amazing. Suárez suspended, Cvitanich injured and Young Ajax's Darko Bodul also injured. Which means. No strikers. Yeah... Sulejmani.

Twente have some pretty good defenders, true athletes, so I just can't see us score, to be honest...

btw, does anyone realize that sno came up as a #9? frankly, 2 of the 3 best games i've ever seen him play came as a center forward (which of course isn't saying too terribly much, but still... )

His only quality (at least in so far as he demonstrated one this season) is the ability to control the all. I forget the match and maybe it was one where we were down a man. Sno played very well on the ball controlling it as a center forward (too bad Leonardo doesn't have this same quality; he would be a much better player). Unfortunately, Sno is best remembered for shots on goal that missed by at least 20 meters.

Lots of empty seats today. I've heard more noise from the crowd today than in the past. Maybe it's the Twente fans. We've had some good chances so far but as usual can't convert

Twente is really lucky so far. They escaped an obvious penalty, Douglas should have been sent off and Alderweireld just hit the post...

Yes.

Decent first half but still cannot finish (nothing new here). Can't believe Douglas was not sent off. Two obvious fouls that should have drawn yellow (after his first). I don't know why eveyone raves about him. I think he is a very clumbsy defender. Boscher had a very lucky half and looks to be slightly injured. Twente sure don't look like the 2nd place team (and they have put their top 11 out on the pitch). All the more infuriating.

0-0 will be just fine.

Well at least the ball is in the Twente half of the pitch and Twente aren't interested in doing anything but defending. Barring some kind of colossal blunder 0-0 looks like the most likely result.
