We're already certain to advance to the knock-out stages, but we can still win the group if we score a few goals!

Okay. Here's the deal. If we win the group, we get a #3 from another UEFA Cup group. If we finish 3rd, we get a UEFA Cup group winner. We can't really say anything about those opponents yet, because there are still games to be played.

If we finish 2nd in the group, we face a #3 from a Champions League group, namely one of the following:

Girondins Bordeaux
Olympique Marseille
Werder Bremen
Shakhtar Donetsk
Aalborg
Fiorentina
Dinamo Kiev
Zenit St. Petersburg

I say: let's seriously try to win this group. Could be very important.

We've GOT to win better than Hamburg tonight! Villa have sent a nursery side out to Germany, (I didn't know that kids were cheaper on flights nowadays), Martin O'Neil says that he doesn't give a **** who they play in the next round......

Let's hope for Hamburg 2-1 win....and a 3-0 win for Ajax....it is important who we play in the next round.... We've got to finish 1st or 3rd...

I honestly care more about not getting someone injured than winning this game. We're already through, and while topping the group would be nice and possible give us an easier opponent in the next round, we just need to make sure we don't lose anymore essential players.

We haven't given up a goal at home yet this year in the Uefa Cup and Slavia hasn't won on the road. Of course I'd like to hammer them to make up for the loss last year (especially the one at home) in the CL qualifying round. Let's just do it without any injuries.

We recently beat Hamburg away and played well against Villa away. So why can't we do that against a team like Donetsk, Aalborg or Fiorentina? I'm not that worried about where we finish. I just want the team to play well.

It's a good thing Ajax is already qualified for the next stage.

Apart from our goal we are crap. Atdhe stream is on media and english commentary and a fairly good picture. Thats the only good thing I can say at present.

3 defeats in 3 games against such a crappy team as Slavia would be humiliating, whatever the context.

HSV - Villa : 2-0.

450 min. for Slavia in Europe this season until this game - 0 scored goals. 45 min. against Ajax - 2 scored goals.

Great ! The week my doctor puts me on blood pressure medication (Lisinopril 10mg) and Ajax plays like shite. This match isn't helping things. I may have to OD on my med just to get thru this embarassment of a football match.
