You have identified the problem that I've also observed. All one has to do is watch a Barcelona match. Both teams play 4-3-3 but the movement and confidence is the big difference. Also the the wing players come up to meet the ball much higher than Ajax wingers do. I've long said that we never adjusted to Sneijder's departure last season and I don't see any of the current midfielders as being solutions to this problem. I hope that this is what MVB is seeing and that they will seek to remedy it prior to next season. I'm not sure that Elia is the solution to any current problem we have unless it is as a replacement for Suarez (figuring that he is sure to transfer this summer).Over Pasanens Head schreef: Its just not the passing. They are taking too long to make up their minds + there is insufficient movement. We really need to be playing a fast paced push and run style of football if we are to become successful.
I also feel that their confidence levels are paper thin.

God, I hope so. I know he has his fans on this forum, and I love what he can do for the team with his energy, inventiveness and sheer cheek. But I've seen enough; he is a cheat. His dives are just the sort of thing that once made me deride other teams. It's just not Ajax.Orange14 schreef:...as a replacement for Suarez (figuring that he is sure to transfer this summer).

Mark it 8, Dude.
