I agree, it was a good win and the team looked promising. Nice to see Huntelaar score again, looks like he might be on his way back to finding his form. The defense wasn't horrid and they all played with some intensity. I think I'm most interested to see if this continues in the upcoming away matches. I've been impressed with Oleguer the last few matches and it's really a must that we get another quality defender in the winter.
Any update on Cvitanich and how long he's going to be out?

I thought Oluguer, and Vermaelen had good games, and even van der Wiel and Emanuelson weren't as disappointing as usual. But my MOTM was Verthongen, I thought he was absolutely outstanding.
Huntelaar is just out of touch, but he continues to work hard and I'm sure his best form will return soon. Both back positions remain an issue, and though Vermeer's reaction saves are top drawer he flaps horribly at crosses. Get well soon, Maarten.
I don't think you can say this is a good Ajax team yet, but there are definite signs of slow, incremental improvement.
