Once again: I didn't watch, but here are some things that a mate of mine texted me...
Ajax had 70% possession in the first half and 59% in the second. Ajax played well, looked quite good offensively and created a handful of good chances. These are things to be pleased with. Keep it up, lads.
It's starting to sound like a broken record, but Ajax were once again very vulnerable at the back. Inter were leaning back and let Ajax do the work with the ball, but every time they launched an attack and really went for it, it almost immediately lead to major chances, especially early in the second half. Inter only needed to shift to a higher gear in order to cause great unrest. Ajax can not close the shop. They simply can't do it.
Thank God, Martin van Geel has now also stated that reinforcement of the defense is Ajax's priority this month.
Conclusion: shame about the pennos, but this was - all in all - fairly promising.

I watched the whole game, got a really good feed on the Internet.
The the real positive thing to come out of this game was the fact that the most creative / productive prt of the game was when the "stars" had been replaced!
The commentators were almost in ecstasy as the entertainment value was terrific for the locals.....but we still need to actually PLAY a central defender!
Plug the gap at the back and we'll be OK!
