IMO Steks is a great goalie, the best since van der Sar, he's out for 2 weeks only

Steks is not injury prone.Missed 1 UEFA CUP ( 4-0 v Start)and 2 Leagues games last season (was also rested for 2 minor Dutch Cup games) even now a broken finger is nothing to do with overall fitness .

Violence ? I hate it and I'm a peaceful man myself. A few bricks thown at riot policemen. No one was hurt, as far as I know.

Just watched Eurogoals on Sky. Suarez gets the cheater of the week award for his dive. Hope someone can cure him of that. Divers are the scum of soccer.

What I'd like to see is a special team of referees watching the game A POSTERIORI and booking the divers, cheaters, morons tacklin from behind, etc. Impunity is killing football in my not so humble opinion.

Yup, and I assume that Eurogoals didn't show the blatent hacking foul from behind and then berating the player he'd nearly chopped in two!

He needs to end that, and fast!

I fully agree. And not only the cheating players should be punished, but their clubs too.

There's not much we can do about Suarez. In sports there are fair players and unfair players, it's really down to what sort of person the player is. Best we can do is try to teach Suarez and others like him, but for now it's something we have to deal with
