I agree that Emanuelson was really good, man of the match to me. :xyxthumbs:Van der Vaart schreef:HUNTELAAAAAAR OLE OLE :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
scored once and made an excellent assist...
BABEL played very good ,just lost a BIG chance
and...EMANUELSON IS BETTER THAN JUANFRAN
He played very good...scored ,helped in defence...
But Babel did not impress at all! :nooo:

Great result. Glad The Hunter opened his account!!! Hopefully he will relax a bit and get back to what he does best. In a season where Lucky Ajax has largely been off on a cruise somewhere, I'll gladly accept the no peno given decision and being scheduled home to Roda in the halve-finale. Last, Urby seems to be one of the few highlights this season so it's great to read that he played well yet again. Well done Ajax! :xyxthumbs:

Nice one. Not that we were great, but at least we were tough. Ajax were up for this one and did it with hard work. Also, we could have decided the game earlier on counter-attack.
It was a very nice day, although it had a very false start for us. Over Pasanen's Head and I drove to Heerenveen with two of our mates, but after only 50 metres we were pulled over by the cops and my mate Micha and I got done for 75 euros each for not wearing safety belts in the back!
:rocketwhore:
Didn't spoil my evening, though!

The Ajax defense is sooooooo poor that I am really worried for next Sunday. Why on earth did we ever sell Escudé. Vermaelen is much weaker than our honorable froggy. Please put Grygera in the center and not on the right side. We defenitely need him against Kuijt and the others.
Despite the 0-3 victory I still think this squad is a disaster. Bright spot: Klaas Jan Huntelaar! What a guy!

Zé of zeehond, rookies huren voor een jaar is ongezond!
I can find no mention of Rosenberg in the official site match report. Is he ill ?

You have a point, amusing man. :worshippy:
Rosenberg has a tendency to attract attention. This time he just did what he should, so there was not much to write about I guess. He did not score, he did nothing fantastic or nothing really poor. It was just a day at work, he seems to be more and more comfortable in his role though. And in the next one, he will score again. Good, or what do you think?

Kaiser posted this one in the Feyenoord - Ajax thread, but since it's a very interesting breakdown of the individual performances against Heerenveen I'm posting it in this thread as well...
K.kaiser schreef:Time for the real deal! But what can we can conclude from the last victory?
The defence: not good enough :eusa_pray:
Emanuelson: Just brilliant
Babel: mist a great, great chance, never the less he played ok and might be an alternative if Rosenberg takes Rosales place like in the end of the match. For the moment I still prefer Rosenberg and Rosales.
Rosales: Has a tendency to be invisible, he must take part more i the game. His goal was a gift.
Rosenberg: More and more shows that he can play in the linking-forward position, not just score there. Really good in first half, still has things to work with, but it is a new position and as long as he score as much as he do I think he is a man for the starting line up for sure.
Huntelaar:
Was not that good, lost everything in the air and looked quite pale. This can of course be explained by the support of midfield and their tendency to deliver the wrong balls in the wrong height. Anyway he scored and made an assist and that is so important. I am convinced that this game is the beginning of a new era where Charisteas and Rosenberg can do nothing to challange this man on this position. Charisteas will be bound to change team to be in the starting eleven, Rosenberg will have to play in a linking forward position.
