I have to agree it was a dive, even Niall Quinn, ex Arsenal on Sky thought so.

A clumsy effort from Galasek but this is Arsenal home of the king of divers Pires Reyes and Van Pussie.

I would not comment on players performances as I only watch them on TV but someone said about Rosenberg being poor. My only comment on this is that he wont come up against better central defenders than Toure and Senderos in Holland and although we play 4-3-3 we do not have wingers , Bouhkari is not good enough, but tries and Pienaar will never be a winger . Point being that Rosenberg did not get much service or chance last night.

Is Maduro going to be OK as his injury looked bad ???

feel free to look at the video i provided, then return to insist it was a penalty and i will pester you no more on the issue
Not a cop out, but not allowed to download etc at work and my pc at home is just too slow. As such I will have to concede as on the board, the general view was that no contact was made. Have to say though that the opposite view was held in the away section around where we were standing.

I think it's broader than just this board, OPH.

All the media commentary I've seen/heard/heard (not just Dutch, also Belgian, and English) is pretty unanimous on this.

No insult intended (as usual).....

1- no worries

2- well of course it was! gooners don't really go around admitting when their players dive

It was a dive, and an amazing one...the spanish comentators from Espn said they were going to call "El Canal de las Estrellas"( Thats the slogan for Televisa the #1 network in mexico) to see if they could offer Reyes a role in they're new Tv novel "Rosalinda" because of his good(NOT!!!) acting.

Anyways justice was served and maybe we should just drop it, i can feel some tension around here.

For now on we(Ajax) should avoid spanish referee's at al coast, bloody spaniard's are fucking blind( plus they all look funny :D ).

Always remember guy's Peace ;)

Don't worry VA, I think everyone is fine with one another here. I don't think that anyone is crying into their tea about this. Besides, no one ever gets hurt in a handbag fight anyway. :D

According to Ajax.nl, Grygera has a "light concussion" and will certainly miss the Vitesse game. Maduro will have to wait a few more days for the swelling to die down before the severity of his injury is known, but the early report is that he is likely to be out for two weeks minimum.

Here is Hleb's challenge, courtesy of Ajax.nl. He only got a yellow, perhaps Uefa can review this the way they reviewed Essien's challenge on Hamman.

I. Re the penalty At least they missed so justice done.

2 It looked a horrible tackle and could easily have been a red card but the sight of Maduro's ankle looks very bad.I hope that he will be fit soon and there is nothing serious with it.

Okay, people... here's my match report. A bit later than usual, which has got to do with a little trip to London that I made for a reason I will not reveal. :D

Oooo Ko has a sweetie there eh?

Or is my guess wrong

BTW This isn't right I believe

Ajax will be paired with one of the group winners: AC Milan, Internazionale, Juventus, Liverpool, Villarreal, Olympique Lyon or Bayern München.

They were second after Juve, it's Barcelona to mention :xyxthumbs:
