Heard someone say, i believe it was Henk Spaan at FC Godenzonen, that O'Brien should be playing leftback with Maxwell in front of him. Mainly because Maxwell should be playing in midfield while not being a true defender.

that option was a real option, but koeman changed his mind, o'brien wasn't even on the bench

Blind showed excellent vision when he captained the 'Second Coming' of the Godenzonen. Don't be surprised if that capacity translates into a far above average coaching ability.
