Think we need to see their goal again in slow mo! We must all agree it was rubbish defending, a poor goal to let in.
Hope for a draw at light bulb city today or even a PSV win .Dont want to be more than 3 points behind the top tonight.

Good news PSV won , never ever cheer them on but we are only 2 points from top but 6th.
Our 2 poor league performances so far have been on 3G pitches and indeed all 3 away games on them. I wonder if we can start to play better on grass!

Our Dutch pals on the main site want Keizer out and take Dijks with him. Keizer does seem to change systems and not sure what is best .He got the job due to Jong Ajax having a great season last year with an amazingly talented Midfield trio playing quick passing and movement. A bit different in Eredivisie!!

Yes, it is different and the club struggled in both the CL and EL qualifying matches. I still think the club is playing better passing football under Keizer but is having trouble scoring goals. According to 11 tegen 11, Ajax had 23 shots on goal with an expected 2.39 goals scored. This has been typical of the club so far this season, lots of good attempts but not getting the finish that was needed.SPL schreef:Our Dutch pals on the main site want Keizer out and take Dijks with him. I wonder if we are back to the period where we have a new manager every season.
I just watched the highlights of the game on the US ESPN site. On the ADO goal, there was a lot of ball watching by everyone. I'll disagree with Ian's comment about Younes. He was right next to his marker just outside the penalty box area and I don't think he can be faulted. I still think it was Dijks's play to make but he didn't and it was a good finish with a tight angle by the ADO player
