Days like today would clubs really pay 30m for Dolberg!!! He was very tightly marked today.
Since NEC back in November we have struggled for so many games since then ,apart from ADO .If Twente could only get a draw today.

Ajax really need to make changes. Schone needs to be off, Dollberg should be replaced by Traore. If they don't, the underlying weakness of this team will exposed in the Europa league

Dolberg is still learning big problem the only other striker Cassierra is not yet good enough .Traore was tried there at the start but isn't a striker hence he is an inverted winger.

From whoscored statistical review, this was the view of the game:
Ziyech was again Ajax's most trigger happy player, shooting 6 times (we had 22 shots in total, 17 from open play) 3 times on target. Younes shot 4 times, all from inside the penalty area, got the goal and hit the woodwork. Klaassen, one shot, one goal. Dolberg only one shot, it was on target. Nouri had 3 shots and hit the woodwork.
Player with the most passes today was Jöel Veltman (78) and with an accuracy of 85%, one of them being and assist to Amin Younes, the other assist came from Kasper Dolberg which was his only contribution of note. He also had the most amount of touches with 99. So it seems Ajax are now trying to come out of their own half by giving the ball to Veltman. Surprisingly enough, Veltman had 2 through balls, and Ziyech and Younes had one each. Ziyech and Schöne had the most amount of key passes with 4. Schöne had uncharacteristically low pass success with 76%, which may be the reason Orange14 rates him so poorly today. Nouri and Van de Beek didn't put a single pass wrong, 100% success for them.
Again Klaassen had very little influence on the game aside from the goal, only getting 48 touches, only Kluviert, Onana and Dolberg had less. Had less passes that Onana! He made 40 passes and with only a 74% success rate. Getting the goal like a ghost is no understatement, he really is a non-factor in the midfield for most of the game.
Most of the crossing came from Ziyech taking corners. Kluviert had 5 which goes to show he is the only real winger in the team.
Lots of attempts to dribble from Justin Kluviert with 9, but only 2 successful. Younes also happy with the dribbling, tried it 7 times, but more success on his part with 4.
Most successful tackles today did not come from Veltman, but from Sinkgraven with 5, but was also dribbled past 4 times. Schöne actually had a good defensive game with 3 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 3 clearances. As usual, Sanchez cleared the ball out of danger the most, doing it 5 times. Veltman blocked the most, doing it 4 times.
Viergever won 5 aerial duels and Sanchez 4.
