Nobody wanted to take free tickets. Maybe the weather is nice in Amsterdam.

We still make bad teams look good and had to do too much last ditch defending. Play is still way too slow and had a lot of telegraphed passes. Andersen had a decent enough match as did van Rhijn.

Cillessen (6.5) - one really nice save but most of his work was kicking the ball out of danger
Boilesen (5.5) - some good plays on offense but totally not convincing on defense
Denswil (5.5) - really lazy pass back to Cillessen almost cost a goal; several times did not hustle back on defense
Veltman (6) - below his usual standard
van Rhijn (7) - good on defense and offense, maybe best player on the pitch
Riedewald (4) - bad give away on the goal and often out of position
Andersen (6) - good game today but still could make the pass quicker
Klaassen (5.5) - should have scored and had a lazy pass intercepted near the end of the game saw action at DM when Duarte came on for Riedewald which was intersting
Schöne (6) - mediocre first half and then came alive when he moved over to the right side; really doesn't like the left wing
Milik (6) - had he managed a couple of passes to van Rhijn he would have been rated higher cannot let a 3 on 1 opportunity go to waste
el Ghazi (5) - scored a goal but otherwise not very good
Duarte (5.5) - slightly above average in a brief appearance
Sigthorrsson (5) - was hoping he would stay on the bench but at least he didn't screw things up
Zimling (NR) - not on long enough

Cup match mid-week and I'm off to a concert right now!!!

Well a hard fought win but against a better team we may have lost. Milik at least looks like a striker who can score and actually has speed,he should keep his place over Siggy.Riedewald is not yet ready and I think Serero will come back when fit.Still need to buy an experienced quality DM. Denswil looks very lazy imo ,if Moisander is to leave Denswil will have to improve but this was his first game of the season .Maybe Frank is going to give him a run of games to see how he develops.

So we struggle on but at least thats 3points.

We were comfortable overall but it was a schizophrenic performance with spells of nice passing and movement interspersed with some awful giveaways. Agree with most of the comments you guys made, van Rhijn would have been my man of the match too. For me Milik is only OK so far but he has plenty of time to develop and starting matches will help with that.
