The first goal came too easy -- they thought the game was over and just started going through the motions. They need to get Sana on the left and Lukoki on the right and fast break down the wings. They also need to get Serero and Schone off the pitch.

I know that the bus was late in arriving at the stadium but they really would have done everyone a big favor by not showing up at all today. This has to be one of the worst halves of Ajax football that I've ever seen. If there was a way to put a brand new starting 11 on the field for the second half I'm sure that FdB would do it. There is not a single player on the team that is worthy of wearing the shirt today. What are they thinking? Never make a back pass from near the halfway line when you have a keeper who cannot kick and handles the ball poorly. Why all the long balls? Sure they broke in on the keeper twice but every other one was lackluster and lacking. What's the deal with Eriksen? He looks like Janssen on the field, no movement at all. Sererro confirms for me that he cannot play at this level at all. Schone is not a holding midfielder at all; he's just not strong enough. No clinical finishing, poor defending and just dumb play. Have I missed anything?

what a half ,after the early goal hit the post and cross bar but a dreadful penalty award ,thank goodness they missed. I started to blame Vermeer for the dreadful goal but then saw what a poor back pass from V Rhijn. Just because he now has V d Wiel's position does not mean he has to start crap defending.

Schone and Serero are weak in midfield,we are missing Anita in that holding role. More goals are certain.

Now I know that Eredivisie match officials are generally quite poor but this guy is really bad. How is this EVER a RED card. There were two other Ajax players so it cannot be a last man foul. It certainly wasn't malicious. Please explain.

I wish they would bring Lukoki on -- it would force Herenveen to keep a couple of players back instead of them flooding our area. Also, you never know -- he could create chaos in their defense. Instead it looks like Blind coming on -- swell.

We are really lucky that have that Djuricic (sp) playing for them -- he must have missed 4 gaping nets. And finally they brought on Lukoki -- let's try and win this game.
