In short, this was a match that should have been won 3-0. Twente are not a very good team and with three static midfielders, they only posed problems on the break when we did not cover well.

we should have been given that 2nd in the first half but for the second week in a row V d Wiel has cost us 2 points . Last week was bad enough but watching that cross come over with him behind Luuk de Jong was woeful .
2 points utterly chucked away .

I couldn't really tell who was at fault other than maybe a lot of players on the Twente goal. I thought it was Vertonghen that got caught out and Alderweireld had to slide over rather than stay with de Jong (I could be wrong and would like to see a replay).

EDIT - Thanks to ESPN (I'm a glutton for punishment) I've watched now about five times. I don't think Van der Wiel is at fault since he has Ola John behind him to worry about and needed to be concerned with him making a run. One of our midfielders is just walking back as de Jong makes his cut to the goal (Eriksen, I think but couldn't see the number too clearly). Bottom line is that he got free and it was a good cross that resulted in the goal. Vertonghen's fault was letting Janko get between him and the goal which is maybe why Toby slid over. Anyway, that's it; no use crying over spilled milk. The team needs to screw their heads on straight and not make these mental mistakes.

We need to mature as a team, that was our game for taking even with that stupid disallowed goal.

This game midfield worked a bit better, imho. De Jong or Eriksen dropped a bit deeper to get a ball. This helped team to be a whole not a 2-part mechanism. Not sure why Ebecillio or some other winger wasn't brought on to finish Twente off.

I think Ebicilio is still suspended, Ozbiliz still injured and Serero, Lukoki thought too light.

He was listed as on the substitutes bench. I think he finished his suspension in the League Cup match but it doesn't matter. You cannot overload the field to one side and neglect the other which is what happened last week and now this week. FdB should have known that Sulejmani would not play the full 90 minutes.

I think that the whole team have got to take the responsibility for losing 2 points last night!
I haven't "stormed" out of the Arena for a long time, but the negative tactics followed in the 2nd half made me mad! Ok, while you've got the ball, the opposition can't can't score....but the lackadaisical passing in defence was almost heart stopping! The only way to hold on to a lead as you're approaching Full Time is to get the ball forwards and keep it in the opposition half of the pitch!
It wasn't so much as 2 points lost as 2 points thrown away!!! There were too many negative players on the pitch last night....their first thoughts being to pass the ball backwards!!!

Let's have some forward thinking, especially for Tuesday against RM.......attack them and you'll win....defend at your peril!!!

From what I've seen in the match we should play with Enoh, Janssen(if not, another in this position) and Eriksen. Whats the big deal with De Jong as a number 8 or so

we have the wrong de Jong ,2 years ago we could have got Luuk for 1m ! He was rated already then.
