Lesley da Sa , Jody Lukoki , Andre Ooijer, Dmitri Bulykin, Thulani Serero , Nicolas Lodeiro, and Jesper Cillessen had run outs . Ajax wins. On to next round . Tis all good.

Watched the game ,once Siem opened the scoring with a fine shot it was never in doubt. The defence were ok but their goalscorer was completly unmarked when the crosss came across .The right back should have been marking him but V Rhijn had been on the pitch less than a minute. Toby had been right back and V Rhijn took over ,he looked comfortable on the ball moving forward and passing very good apart from one short one. Lodeiro looked ok but Serero really impressed me . Bulykin took him goal well and went close as well. Of the 2 wingers Lukoki has speed and a reasonable cross . Ozbiliz turned his ankle and de Sa came on and looked nervous as hell .He is a natural right footer but played on the left . He
settled down in the second half put in a few crosses, went inside a few times and took his goal well ,standing in the centre at the time. Considering he is an A1 youth think we will see more of him.

a good workout and at least we won.

I have a few positive thoughts about this game, but here's two negative ones:

* we conceded a goal again, even against a Topklasse side

* I thought Lodeiro was seriously poor and I'm afraid he'll never make it at this club

I only watched the last 30 minutes or so since I didn't have the start time of the match correct. When I saw Lodeiro here in DC last June for the DC United friendly I thought he looked a little slow but that it was the result of the injury. I didn't see much improvement at all yesterday and you are probably correct in your assessment (which is why FdB has not put him in a competitive match yet)>

I said he looked ok but that was against amateur opposition!! .Nobody looked that special Serero only impressed me as he looked lively on the ball and ran around alot but then again I have not seen much of him.Of the 2 young wingers neither are ready for the first team but in the second half when his nerves settled down de Sa impressed me more .

I think I will leave judging players to you experts !

Would have expected at least 7or 8 goals before the start so well done to them .
