Steks was complaining about some groin trouble. According to Ajax Netwerk, it seems to be more precautionary than anything else.

Easy enough win. Anderlecht really had no interest in the match the second half. We had much better spacing in the midfield today but El Hamdaoui is still a liability not passing early enough (not to mention his glacial speed). Other two Dutch teams win their ties and move into the final 16 as well. Now we need to focus mentally on PSV and get a result in Eindhoven!!
