well in the end an easy win . Suarez has been one yellow from a suspension for weeks now so it was asking too much to wait for RKC in 3 games time ie after Sparta and PSV but at least he wont miss PSV.

Utrecht's attack consisted of one effort early on punched in . Still thats 9 league games since they beat us 2-0 and in those 9 we have let in just 2 goals ie NAC and Fword.(5 in a row now without a goal )Trouble is those 2 soft goals cost us 4 points .

Lets hope Twente or PSV drop points today .

Interesting day at the ArenA. Arriving there at mid day it was like a war zone. Helicopters hovering above train station, riot vans heading into Biljmer at full speed and the train carrying the 600 Utrecht fans looking like it was on fire. First time in years Utrecht supporters have been allowed into the ArenA and they never made it past train station. After repeated anti-semtic chants on departure they were returned to the train - and then seemed to kick off with riot police everywhere and smoke rising from front of train. Lovely people altogether.

Game itself was boring as fuck. Until sending off Ajax did not look like scoring and it was no surprise that first goal was a fluke. Ajax made this game harder than it should have been.

At end of day 3 points are 3 points

Twente win 2 1, scoring winner 5 mins from end. NEC miss glorious chance to equalize in 2nd minute of injury time

Amazing. We were hardly world beaters and we still managed 4. Definitely speaks to how weak FCU were.
