Y'know, for all our complaining about the sorry state of Ajax, the reality is that we've taken PSV down to the wire for the last two years in a row. I wish we would come out on top in these things, and I agree that we should set our sights higher than that, but if you sit back and look at the last two seasons, it hasn't been all bad.

But let's hope that we win the title next year without any last-day heroics. :ajaxscarf.gif:

Got a perfect stream watched the whole game. Hard working win.
Lets hope Vitesse play superbly and we win the title.

Goals from Lindgren and Suárez... *LOL* Bloody brilliant.

Too bad Suárez didn't celebrate. The crowd were all over him the whole evening. He should have gone absolutely mental, running three laps around the pitch.

It's game on on Sunday!

Who knows...

Exactly. At least we can be thankful for it going the whole season (again). I'm not holding much hope, but it's some, and that is better than nothing.

Maybe its finally our time to have the luck?

Again: who knows...?

You know, if you'd see the table of any other football league (Turkey, Hungary, Ireland, Namibia, 4th Class Saturday Amateurs, whatever) and the situation was exactly the same as the current situation in the Eredivisie, you'd say: wow, that's gonna be decided on the last day - and it's still 100% open! The #2 is three points behind, but they have a better goal-differential and they're playing the last game at home against one of the weaker teams, whereas the league leaders are away to a team that still has something to play for!

We have a chance and if you look purely at the facts it's not even a small chance, but a pretty realistic one.

Problem is: I've been watching Ajax all my life (and this season, too, unfortunately), I know the 'psychology' of this team, I know PSV... and therefore I just don't feel it.

I think I'll start hoping on Sunday morning (I always do), but to be quite honest: I know how solid PSV can be when they really have to and I just can't see them lose. I watched Vitesse last weekend and I was not exactly impressed. I just can't see it happening.

But it can happen for sure, and once again: if you look at the plain facts it wouldn't even be that weird. It's one of the scenarios for Sunday.

You might be in Amsterdam Ian and dying a death, but at least you are there and part of it. Spare a thought for the rest of us not there hoping for a good stream etc or for the likes of myself in the Himilayas with no contact with the outside world until I return on the 02 May. :eusa_pray.gif:

Well, Bill, I hope that your God can give our lads and the Vitesse players some inspiration on Sunday! My God's done the deal on Gronge/Ajax and the PSV/Twente matches.......it's your turn now!!! (and stay away from that Olympic Torch.........we'd like to see you back safely....not in a Tibetan or Nepalese nick!!!)
