Against Anderlecht they would have deserved more; today they sure as hell didn't.

Only saw the last 20 minutes or so. But all I'm going to say is that I'm glad that we gave away 2 points instead of 3. Ajax of the past 3-4 years would've promptly given away another goal after the red card.

Had to go out today but did see all the first half . We should have been ahead and their first was another soft type of goal that should be prevented. I went out expecting a 2-1 win but from the comments at least we got a draw.

I cannot comment on our defence not having seen the second half but for a young unit they have done
well since the debarcle of PSV.
Looking at the goals against we have played 14 league and cup games this season and let in just 10! 4 v PSV and 2 today that leaves 4 goals in 12 other games and 3 of those were just late consulations that did not cost us anything (the 4th v Anderlecht was late but not a consulation!!!)
Given their youth they are performing very well and lets face it even Man U and Chelsea , who have world class defences let in 2or 3 goals sometimes.
In addition they have played a lot of games in a short time and today was the second tough away game inside 72 hours. I think our defence is the least of our worries at present.

Agree with this. What is lacking is the clinical finishing when we get the opportunities.

Am I the only one who thinks Suarez/Dario upfront make the most productive combination? I think it's evident in a game like this one was where there was so little offensive creativity, apart from the beginning. It's good that Suarez can create goals out of nothing, but it's easier when he gets some service.

I think the weakest part of our game lately, and in this game, has been the outside midfield. With so many players to chose from, it seems like we could get some consistency there, but I thought Sulejmani and Aisatti were pretty weak yesterday. I love Enoh and de Zeeuw in the middle, just wish we could get some consistency beside them.

I agree about finishing as well, there have just been so many missed opportunities in that regard over the last few games as well.

In the end, I'm glad we still got a point from this one.

Would go along with you Gordon. I am happy with the back 4 and Enoh and De Zeeuw also but I am not that keen on Aissati and Sulejmani. Would rather see De Jong than Aissati but this may be the area we need to buy ! (For the cup game v Dordrecht I would throw in Danilo to see how he performs in the 1st) Cvitanich has impressed me more this season .

The only certainty is do not sell Suarez this winter and pray he keeps fit as we will struggle to scores goals without him. That of course is stating the bleeding obvious!!!

Wow. I saw some pictures after the match of him and figured he was playing nice by wearing it inside out. The video of him stuffing it down his pants tells a bit of a different story.
