Look if you want a dialogue about this I dont mind. Let me just put my case forward of when I said I was right about Ajax, they are as followed.

1. When Ajax signed Mido and Zlatan, in the first season most fans I encountered prefered Mido over Zlatan, I always said Zlatan would come out on top.

2. When i watched a friendly QPR vs Ajax in 2004. After the game finished we waited for the Ajax players to come out. Me and these 2 ajax fans argued about who would be better upfront, Babel or Sonck, I went for Babel and they went for Sonck.

3. Finally my favourite one, Johnny Heitinga, and if you dont believe me ask SE6Ajacied, him along with the rest of the Ajax fans in the de Hems, said Ajax should purchase Ron Vlaar and give them Heitinga as part of the package, I replied 'no send Vlaar to Feyenoord, and lets stick with Heitinga' and guess what happened.

3 out of 100 isnt too bad I guess...

I'm not going to join in with this one but suffice to say Ayman has a better memory than me. I certainly don't remember passing any opinion at all on Ron Vlaar. Suffice to say that despite being a regular poster on these boards "New players for Ajax" is about the only permanent topic I don't get a reminder about new posts for as I don't think I've ever been on there - I am perhaps the worlds worst talent scout.

Anyway, it's possible I may have commented but certainly don't remember having a strong opinion.

Hope you are right about Jan-Arie. i still believe Sarpong will turn out good. It seems years ago I first saw him as a16 year old playing for Dutch u17's and he is still only just 20.

Hey we could always use two good players instead of one..so lets just hope they both pan out...the more the merrier
