Oh OK. I thought he was kinda playing the Heitinga role - centre half coming forward in attack.

Vitesse kinda disappeared in the second half - we weren't 100% convincing but it's a nice win.

Nice patience shown today. Vitesse clearly playing entirely defensive football with everyone behind the ball when Ajax had it. Once we got the first goal, it was pretty much sealed as there was zero danger from Vitesse. let's build on this moving forward!

Great result ! With Ajax down Micky and Aissati, it was great to have Jan Vertonghen pop up and get two. Contributions, whether scoring or playing tough D, from guys like Enoh Sno, and Vertonghen, can help soften the blow.

These are the kinds of games we tended to lose last year, so I think it's encouraging that we're not playing down to our opponents.
