This is one game I won't be watching on Setanta as thankfully I'll be there watching it live :hupajax.gif: . My first (and possibly last) game of the season.

I feel very sad for you (and other fans who travelled from abroad to watch the game). I do yope you had a reasonably good time in Amsterdam regardless.

First game for me in like two years or so, I schedule it all, and then I ring the bell at the door of my hotel, and the guy goes "Bad news for you man, the game's been cancelled". I'm kind of bitter right now, fucking cops could have pulled that one at another moment goddammit

You could have turned up at the Arena like me this morning and have a ticket inspector tell you the game was off.Lots of people there though!

Shame we don't have your mobile phone number mkkid as 6 of us took in the DWS game accompanied by a few beers. Not a very good game, but a good laugh and a chance to see one of the local top-class amatuer teams.

For the interested amoungst you DWS are really struggling at the foot of the league without a win so far. Their opponents though had a player that we thought Ajax should sign - not for his football skills (although he wasn't bad) but more for his name. I give you our next star ...................Tim Fokkenrood !!!!!!!!!!

Cheers - Yeah, Amsterdam's cool and as a union rep myself I suppose I can't moan at the Police for going on strike. Anyway, the DWS game was OK and I also want to sign Elinwijk's No. 4, Mr Fokkenrood so that I can have that on my shirt

I hope Vermaelen is ready to play all 90 min, not just last 20 min. of the game. I don't want to see Urby on the left and Vertonghen in center anymore, coz they are terrible in those position. I want to see Vertonghen on the left and Urby on the bench. He could go as a sub in second half for Davids

I don't agree with this anymore. Last season PSV had it in the bag and yet should have lost on the final day. We and AZ shot ourselves in the foot.

PSV, Ajax, Feyenoord are all pretty shite these days. You could have a 12 point lead and throw it away. Nothing would surprise me this season.

Let just beat the Eindies and then Fword next week and set ourselves up to bring the title back to Amsterdam!!!
