Saturday match this week. Right now it looks like most those who were on international duty did not play for the NTs or only had brief spells on the pitch so I don't think anyone is injured.

We are away at a wedding this weekend so I will miss the match but look forward to reading all the postings about how great our team is!!!

4-2-4 with just Ziyech and Donny in Mf and Younes Neres Dolberg KJH up front ! Maybe Dolberg plays behind KJH .

Perhaps the thinking is that Swolle will park a bus, so we don't need to do a lot of defending, but need guys that are strong and dangerous inside the box as we probably will see a lot of crosses from the wings.

After that first 20 mins we have struggled .Kluivert for Neres and Frenkie for Dolberg

Just started watching in minute 70 and we're up 2-0.

KJH getting that 3rd still superb in the box.We played well for 20 mins and then went off the boil until the subs when we went back to 4-3-3.

Ziyech had a great game so did KJH who still does it in the box.Frenkie should start every game always rated him better than Donny.

Well in the end a comfortable win, but it was not easy. PEC played well.
A hard fought game, glad for the 3 pts. When will Dolberg score? Glad we have Huntelaar!

I didn't get round to post comments last night and clearly a very quiet game for watching,not the same without Orange's ratings. I am not making any.

We played well for 20 mins and should have been 3 -0 up,but after that our passing was poor and PEC came back in it.
Don't know about others but I dont think Dolberg and KJH playing together works. Our midfield did seem to function better when Frenkie came on and we should stick to 4-3-3.

Ziyech had a good game and Younes still cannot finish. Neres set up the first and had some good moments but faded
and Kluivert came on to some effect. Veltman seemed to have one of his better games but Dijks is nowhere near good enough.

With all the hell of Appie and then we threw away ties with Nice and Rosenborg,the one bright thing for me is the return of my old favourite The Hunter and he still is a fine finisher in the box.I bet he would have buried that penalty with his eyes closed.

With no Europe I see 2 problems with our squad.Dolberg is highly rated and will become a fine striker but at present KJH has to start and I would put money on him scoring more goals.With Europe football we needed the 2 of them with so many midweek games so it will be interesting to see how they fit in 2 quality strikers.

2nd problem ,wih no Europe,why is Siem de Jong back here and when will he play. Ziyech's understudy this season with so many midweek games expected was Appie but Ziyech will start unless injured.Donny and Frenkie should both start with Schone a sub for either. Maybe Ajax thought Dolberg would be sold at the end of the transfer period and with Cassierra not quite ready Siem could be KJH's standby.

We should have bought a young creative midfielder instead ,with a view to replacing Ziyech next season.

Agree with you about the Dolberg/KJH thing. KJH has to start, I suspect Keizer didn't want to drop Dolberg but I don't think it makes sense starting two strikers in that formation.

I'm also still scratching my head about DMF... Look forward to seeing Eiting if he gets a run.

Despite that I'm hopeful it may be starting to come together. Not a great game, but still created loads of chances without giving away the massive opportunities on counters. PEC never looked like scoring to me; we could've had a couple more.

Eiting is indeed a good DM prospect but again with no Europe and 1 game a week he is not going to get much 1st team playing time. He may need to go out on loan in January and get some playing time in Eredivisie.
