Agree completely and it's very difficult coming in to a match and playing with three other backline players who don't play with each other regularly. de Ligt is probably the best central defender Ajax have developed in a number of years!

I thought Van de Beek was quite the boss in the midfield, and might be pushing for a starting position. 6 key passes is pretty good and Bosz should start taking notice. He outshined Davy Klaassen by a mile. Van de Beek, Ziyech and Schöne would be a pretty dynamic and creative midfield.

A little hard to see but here is the passing map for the game. You can see the interplay between Riedewald and van de Beek. Also Ajax were more active down the right side than in any other match I can remember this season. the major disappointment is that Ajax was expected to win the match according to 11tegen11's algorithm (1.75 to 0.75).
